In my 17 years as a Tyke I have NEVER seen us win away. We have got to the last minute on quite a few occasions, 3-2 at Brammell Lane a few years back 2-1 up at vale park in 2000 and also 2-1 up at both Saltergate and Edgeley Park this season but sadly we have let it slip as the clock hit 90mins.
Funnilly enough i had gone to the last 2 away games before Saturday with no luck so decided to stay at home for the trip to Blackpool and... WE WON. Anybody else suffer such bad luck on thier travels or at any ground???

Only lost once this season away when I had gone, and that was against Huddersfield.

i went when we played liverpool away. it was gutting when they scored from a header in the last kick of the game. we thought we was going to get a well earned point from tht but we got absaloutly nothin. i went 2 coventry match aswell and we gave away a goal in the last 5 mins which ended our play off chances, so no dont have luck reallly when i go to away matches:cry:

I said I would go if we had anything to play for and I remember saying I would buy everybody at the game a pint if we made the play-offs, phew saved some dosh there. But it was a good job i didnt go as we won not quite sure why our players got so excited about the 2nd goal though

I have a terrible record going to away games, I've been to 11 aways this year and we've lost 9, drew one and won the other (but that was an FA Cup replay at Boston) :(

I've seen us win at Huddersfield, win at Wednesday, draw at Barnsley, Doncaster and Chesterfield and lose at Oldham. All in all not bad.

Saw us lose at the KC and Vale Park.

Saw us draw at London Road and Belle Vue.

Saw us win at The Racecourse, NHS, Causeway Stadium, and Ashton Gate.

I've seen us win at Leicester and Watford this season. The only two league games we've actually been capable of winning away - 8 months into the campaign, to add insult
All in all, not a great away record for this season. Although saying that I've seen us win away at Doncaster in the cup. Fingers crossed I'll see a repeat performance in the league :D

Ive seen the Gills win 1 away game this season. i think we only one 2 or something like that. I do remember that my dad used to take me to the chealsea games to turn me from supporting Gillingham but every time he took me they lost so he stoped.
I was desting to be a Gills fan.

I can't understand how/why Barnsley Boy who started this post didn't come to Huddersfield Town this season. It's all of 15 miles away and they won.

In fact, I'd say the 25 minute purple patch they started the game with was the best football I've seen this season at our place.

    Funny old world init?

I've never seen us keep a clean sheet away from home, and my Dad hasn't seen us win away since 1967
