Keep tabs on your clubs away followings over the season.
From last night.....
960 Boro at Luton.
Sell out for us today think that’s about 1800 and 1200 so far for Tuesdays game at Pompey.
Great support considering all the latest dramas.
Either your’s or Brentford’s Twitter will announce the official following at the end of the game. Have a good day Stan.
Oh no...not this thread again! Who's got the biggest away support/willy etc. Leeds Utd win in hands down every year anyway!
It’s just a way of tracking other clubs numbers. Leeds don’t win it every year anyway, We had a better average than them three seasons ago. Whether you take 100 away, or 5000 away, bang it in here.
Bolton have no owners, only 7 first team players & will start the season on -12 points.
Tickets for the opening game at Wycombe went on sale 2 days ago, in that time fans have sold out an 1800 ticket allocation.
Great loyalty, Fair play.
Sold out around 2.2k for both Reading today and Millwall in a fortnight.
Those bloody dozen "ultras" at Reading meaning we don't get the whole stand today.
I’ve mentioned this before, always was a decent allocation before all this nonsense. Amazed that Readings owners are happy losing so much revenue on a regular basis. Mates just texted me who’s on his way to Edgbaston saying the trains packed with your fans.
Add to that there is no official travel, and Bolton couldn't sell tickets, so had to buy from Wycombe.
Yes they've lost out today, undoubtedly we'd have sold out the whole end.
Must cost em loads over a full season, could understand it if they filled the rest of the ground but they don't.
Hope he along with our travelling fans who got the tickets have a great day.
Yeah I’m sure previous allocations were around 6000. So that’s 3500 x £30 = £105k in lost ticket sales alone.
That stand is 4,400. 2,200 each half.
You’ve never been given 6,000. With a 24,000 seater stadium that would mean each stand would need to be the same size. Making the stadium a square.
Reading get around 1,200 - 1,800 in that stand now, but it should really go to away fans as our fans could just go back to their normal seats.
Maybe the owner’s see it as giving the away team more of a disadvantage with less fans. I’m not sure how the whole thing came about.
Didn't think it was anywhere near 6k, thought about 4k.
Even so seems a waste when half the ground is empty.
Yeah can’t argue. They have done season tickets for home fans in the South this season which they didn’t do last season, so maybe it’s a long term thing.
Apologies my bad, must have mixed you up with someone else. Even so there’s 1600 less that teams like a Wednesday & ourselves would have sold. If they’re selling season tickets in that stand then I’d imagine it’s a permanent thing. Still think it’s a tad strange, anyway good luck for the season
For probably 15 clubs at this level, the fact that we have reclaimed half of the away stand back makes no difference, as they wouldn't sell the extra allocation.
It has definitely helped improve the atmosphere around the stadium. Atmosphere is best it has been in a good few years, despite the fact that the team on the field is the worst in that time period.
And the financial loss is not that big - missing out on at most £300k a season, which is nothing for clubs at this level. Won't even get you a players wages for the season.
Expected better from Preston.
That's a 10th of our home support going down south for one of five London trips this season.
