Last time I went to Fulham watching our lot I was strolling to the ground with a Philly Eagles fan discussing the worst hooligans in European football. He was here for the NFL and taking in the game at Wembley

Little did he know that in Fulham vs Bournemouth he would be walking into an absolute cesspit of violence and mayhem.

The only criminal activity that day was the £18.64 I had to pay for two Peronis and a coke in the Temperence pub after....

we sold out the main end then the club’s communications that we’d gotten more tickets were predictably shite

Anyway, I had a quality day, i can’t remember any of my train journey back to Nottingham, Mitrovic is on fire, and we boil piss with our port, cheese boards, and support. You shagging Whites.

Just planning our next trip and had a right little bonus, obviously playing Hull and travelling on the train we'll be travelling through Sheffield, turns out Coventry are away at Sheffield Utd on the same day  :funslapshould be a laugh on the train with the wannabe Brummies, we'll definitely be having an hour or two in Sheffield before heading to Hull so I expect the pubs will be lively on that day too.

    God I hate international weeks.

Won't you lot and Cov just have an anti Villa love in? ;)

Shame the Newt and that pub near the platforms at New Street are no more. Over the years spoken to lots of different fans' clubs in both places...mainly the Newt and it's lovely sticky carpet!

I’ve seen some sights in that Newt & Cucumber over the years mate :fail: there’s still plenty of decent pubs around New Street, you just have to use different exits to get to them.

There’s no love lost between Blues and Cov, to be fair it’s mostly one way and not limited to just football supporters. The people of Coventry have a real little man syndrome toward their bigger, more affluent, modern neighbours, think a lot of it boils down to the ones that work generally have to travel to Brum to do it, they see what we have and the way we live then head back to their 1980s time warp and their version of the Bullring “The West Orchards” *sniggers :pointlaugh

Yep. The Shakespeare was the next pub of choice - last couple of times we have gone to the Cherry Red's Cafe Bar (obviously!) for breakfast and a pint. Great little place.

Been to the Trocadero a few times too over the years. One of the main blues places isn't it?

Sold out our 1200 allocation for Derby (a lunchtime Sunday kickoff) earlier this week, almost 2 weeks before the game. Doesn't look like we're going to get any more - tinpot.

EFL rules state that the minimum allocation is 10% of capacity or 2,000 whichever is lower. Bournemouth must not have requested any more. Tinpot.

Yes there's just no 'fan input/knowledge' going into these decisions. Looking forward to it, staying over the night before, going to see a Depeche Mode tribute band Saturday night...(my mate is a big DM fan)

Then being dragged out unfathomably early Sunday for a run. One of our fans is doing a marathon a day (7 running, 19 cycling) for David Brooks. Could be painful.....

Yes it's totally our problem, tinpot organisation of ticketing is a reoccurring issue here.

I don't think covid/relegation has been kind to the back office admin areas of the club, with staff departures and the club almost getting used to having no in-person customers. We're seen as a bit of an inconvenience, it feels like! General ticketing is a small slice of the club's income (our home games are high % season tickets), that the club see's it as very low priority considering the amount of admin it requires. The result is almost every away game see's some kind of cockup.
