    All smoke and mirrors
Bangor got away with it last season but not tho, you would think they would learn and get it right first time let alone second. They deserve to be relegated and have themselves to blame, the fans may be upset but they weren’t moaning when the money and players came in, they can’t have their cake and eat it
The shirt sponsor is going to mount a legal action against the FAW or whoever they blame, meanwhile legal clubs like Carmarthen sweat on their future as do the playoff clubs.
Buying 2nd place in the league doesn’t amount to much to me, just denies the proper clubs progress
Better bet would be for the ‘owners’ to move the club to England which is what most fans crave anyway
What a mess and reflects badly on the league and FAW

Like most clubs it’s all hearsay and depends who you believe or listen to
I have heard a £10k a week budget and people like Gary Taylor-Fletcher on several hundred a week. Don’t know if it’s taxable or take home though
Gossett a good local lad who I can see going to Caernarfon

10K would seem top end but around £5/6K would seem to fit simply from the POV that some if not many players are happy to pick-up a few hundred locally without the Welsh travel issues of playing in the English game ?

Worst kept secret withe mangers both going, hardly their fault they have been relegated
They need a manager whocanwin a tough Cymru Alliance league, done right he fans will come back in numbers to support them.
Craig Harrison in the frame but someone like Alan Morgan would be better, knows the club and has won promotion before. He’s not set the world on fire at Colwyn Bay and may fancy a shot at this.
Or perhaps one of the up and coming young local managers who can bring their youth through better

Not much you can do about owners, once they have been let in getting them out is tough and no doubt all the money is just loaned to the club.
I don't like it and nor do the fans, but they were happy enough with the money going in to get them to 2nd spot and without them they could have gone bust or relegated anyway.
But are the Bangor owners any better or worse than say the Chelsea owner, both have dodgy backgrounds, have flirted with the laws of the land and can't account for where their money originally came from. Closer to home is Vincent Tan at Cardiff a paragon of virtue, dubious beginning shrouded in mystery and a penchant for buying football clubs. Come to it other than sitting on a lake of oil how worthwhile are the owners of Man City, I could go on, sport ownership is awash with dodgy money, characters and shady dealings, it was only a matter of time before it got to Wales.

    Are you joking?

Abramovich has overseen an unprecedented rate of success for Chelsea, winning the title many times and back to back European honours. Scum like the Vaughans left Barrow up the creek without a paddle, killed Chester City, tried to buy Wrexham and they're now working their magic on Bangor; that family derives pleasure from killing football clubs.

The comment was not so much about football but about the backgrounds and suitability for people of unaccounted for/dubious backgrounds being allowed into the game. Of course anyone with half a brain would not let the Vaughan’s anywhere near a club and could not happen again in England, but FAW turned a blind eye sadly.
Too true Abramovich has funded a Chelsea revival and no one questions or cares how his wealth was acquired, and had Bangor got a licence then no one would care where the Vaughan’s money came from or their motives for buying Bangor
same hoes for many others named and unnamed
I just think it’s a sad day for all the true Bangor fans of many years and they don’t deserve it
