    Not disagreeing.

Although I find nations claiming bands or categorising bands/authors/artists by their (supposed) nationality a bizarre concept.

Anyway, another bid for the list .....

@Vito Andolini nominated The Jam, not sure if The Who got mentioned. Maybe people forgot to put ‘em down?

I only ask because Quadrophenia is my favourite album of all time and to not see The Who listed is bizarre, considering some of the absolute dross that's up there!

Seems people have nominated their favourite bands at the moment, some of which have only released one or two albums. Should have been a four or five album limit.

I'm not finished with the group stages yet. Been busy with work. I am a huge Jam and Weller fan so no way I would skip out on them.

Is that the selections complete? If so bizarre that groups like Genesis, Madness, Marillion, UB40 to name a few missed out?

If people didn't recommend them they didn't get added. Groups all done for now.

Come onnn, Madness, Genesis, its absolutely criminal having a best British band poll with these two omitted with some of the shite actually added

To be fair to me, you recommended them after I started, and I am far too laz....I mean a stickler for self-imposed rules to add extra groups halfway in. Should this be done again in a few months/years though I am sure someone more dedicated than me will add them
