No videos for this one as I don't have the time right now. If anyone else wants to post their favourite songs though feel free.

The very first use of video as a promo to a single, like, ever.

My other pick. I loved their debut album, combining their version of punk (it wasn't really) and soul (it really was). And then to go from there and produce a completely different sound in making Too Rye Ay, ditching your uber cool leather look for dungarees and still managing to pull it off, that was brave.

Totally. Kept raising the bar insanely higher, which pissed Brian Wilson off no end..

Walkover for The Beatles, you either love The Beatles or hate them, I luv em.

Never understand the hatred and pure rubbish some people spout about them in truth...I hear people say they were over rated and untalented...bollocks, the most talented, innovative, influential group to ever come from these shores, ever, bar none.

The most influential and innovative by far, and the way they kept reinventing their sound over eight short years. Listen to Love Me Do and then Across The Universe and you'd never know it was the same band just six years later..

If there's a better soundtrack to a 5am poker game with a few beers, I've yet to hear it.

Yeah, never understood people disliking them. It's just contrarian for the sake of it.

Remove the fanfare and listen to the music and it's undoubtedly stunning stuff, especially given the time period.

They reinvented themselves twice, amazing band. Shame 60s production sucks.
