One of my big regrets in life is that I didn't go with my mates to see Zep at this gig. John Bonham died the year after the tour of 79 and that Ladies and Gentlemen was that. They did reform many years later for a few concerts but you know, no John, no band..

Off their second album, before they went a bit shit. A Rush Of Blood To The Head was a really good album, I thought.

The Beat were very short lived in the late 70s and early 80s, and Andy Cox and David Steele had bigger success when they formed Fine Young Cannibals with vocalist Roland Gift, but this track was brilliant to act like a twat on the dancefloor..

One of the best gigs I ever went to was the Beat and Reel Big Fish.
