I can't really say what was better, 2006 WC or 2010 when we won Serie A / Coppa Italia and Champions.
If I have to say three matches that are perfectly in my mind and I will never forget: Italy-Germany, Italy-France and Inter-Barcelona 2010.
Boca - River
Rosario Central - Newell's
Barcelona - Real
Roma - Lazio
CL final, EC final, WC final
Liv - barce - the world would wanna know if there would be a similar outcome
River vs Boca
Barça vs Madrid
there are other classic rivalries and derbies, but those two are above the rest.
Well, there are different types of derbies and classics, depends which ones you prefer.
Once went to Oxford.
Fulfilled my dream.
Feel-good story of 2020 so far
the biggest match in Austria is by far
FK Austria Wien vs SK Rapid Wien
what a team they were, shame never got chance go for European cup
Top team Everton 85.
Ratcliffe, Southall, Sheedy, Reid, etc.
Wasnt a dig at anyone
They would definitely have had a chance in 86.
They had the experience of balancing several trophies, having played in 2 finals on way to winning league (about 60 games).
Experience of winning in Europe too, having won Cup Winners Cup.
Also when you look at the teams in it ;
only Barcelona, Steaue Bucharest, Bayern Munich and Juventus would be biggest threat. Munich having lost to them in Cup-W-Cup semi finals too.
Plus they added Lineker.
1988 not so sure, they had dropped off to 4th in league and were on the decline.
That said Steaue (86) and PSV (88) were surprise winners, so they deffo had a chance.
By 1990 Kendall tried to buy all that team to come to City haha
