3-1 Rovers. We'll concede...we always concede. But our attack is immense. Rhodes (2) and Rochina.

Genuine question - when was the last time Barnsley won away or picked up a draw ?

Those stats make grim reading pal. At least your home form has been rock solid so far. Time to get a result on your travels starting with Blackburn :thumb

    Yes.
No, we haven't. There hasn't been a game gone by yet - with the possible exception of Leeds - where there haven't been Kean out chants etc.

So what is the big problem with him. Your top of the league, look decent enough. Is it the bloke or the way in which he was appointed?

Both, the mans a lying, deluded ****** and the way he got the job is a joke as well. But I'll just quote what I said in the Bristol match thread about why our fans still want him out.
'Fair play we're unbeaten and we've had an excellent start. But his record is still abysmal, we still can't keep clean sheets, we're being carried through games because other teams struggle to cope with the quality we have - not becuase Kean's getting his tacts right. If we go up this season, Kean remains in charge next year and we come right back down... '
Results wise he is (doing a good job) and that's the most important thing. Performances need to improve if we wanna stay where we are and the defence needs sorting out completely. But if he's getting the results then that's what's most important. I just think it's impossible that he'll be sacked if he gets us back up and he's shown that he's nowhere near a Premiership standard manager (don't think he'd be up to scratch in this division either if we didnt have the best squad by a long way, personally).'
I can't understand why everyone thinks we should forget the last 18 months because we're top of the league after 5 games.

Another poor performance but another win. We do have a little more quality in front of goal than most sides in this league but it isn't going to bail us out every week. As for the Kean issue I'm one of those that will not renew his season ticket until he's gone. Bottom line is we were 8th in the premiership when he took over, look where he's taken us so far - before the start of this season he had lost well over 50% of his games in charge. If he was working for me he'd have been sacked 16months ago. Almost any idiot could get this squad in and around the promotion spots. Unfortunately we still have THAT idiot. He'd have to win this league by 20+ points to gain any confidence back. That ain't gonna happen.

Edit: the wide stood feeling is that if Kean hadn't have been appointed we would still be playing giants like QPR, Reading and Swansea.
