Think it's pretty much win or bust here.

A win and I'll feel quietly confident because of how awful the other teams down there are playing. If we don't win, well I think we'd have to be realistic and say it's very unlikely we'll pick up many more points this season.

Shit or bust now. I'll watch from behind the sofa :hiding

Normally we need 2 goals at least to win a game, and we've hardly managed a shot off target since the restart, nevermind on target or anywhere near scoring. Add to that Callum Wilson is suspended!

Actually, I have a feeling that might be a benefit. It forces Eddie to shake things up.

    Solanke hat-trick incoming.

Agreed Callum being suspended is a blessing in disguise, if Josh King is fit.

If King is out and Solanke is starting? Well I hope the Newcastle central defenders have brought a book to keep them occupied.

I think you will win - I mean one of us has got to at some point!

West Ham and ourselves play Newcastle soon - probably our best chance of 3 points as well.

    IF we turn up..

Getting nervous now- really hoping that Newcastle leave out ASM.

We need a David Brooks masterclass.

So easy for Newcastle. Woeful defensive play from us twice given them simple goals.

Thanks for the memories Eddie but it's time to go. Everytime you play four four ****ing two with Solanke up top we lose and yet week in week out, you continue to do it. Leaving our midfield totally overwhelmed every game to accommodate a guy who has 0 goals in 26 games.

He's lost the players, and his stubbornness and nepotism has left us with a bunch of League 1 coaches and a medical department who cause half our squad to get injured. Toothless and what a pitiful way for us to get relegated, everybody involved with this farce should be ashamed of themselves.

I dunno what to say by this point. Players that 18 months - 2 years ago were perfectly solid PL players, now look a shattered shell of themselves. Again the opposition's first attack results in a goal, happens so often. And again we look tired and lacking in spark to get forward and support each other.

Think this about confirms our fate. We almost need to drop, to clear out some who no longer want to be here. There's promise on the bench and in the u21s but they rarely get a game, blocked by these previously solid PL players turned clueless shadows of what they were.

Been a cracking decade or so, so a bad year had to come eventually I suppose.

Must be quite upsetting (for lack of a better word) for you lot to turn on Eddie after all you've been through. Dont get me wrong, hes done a terrible job recently and agree you need a change but it's a shame it might end on a sour note.
