    Hello Peeps

Just wondering if this would appeal to members on here.

I've mentioned previously that I have come from another forum which was primarily a Boxing site but also discussed other sports too. This forum ran a Boxing predictor league of a total of 30 fights. The fights were put up a number at a time (was all in one previously) and members put predictions in. The point scoring system is simple. 5 points for the correct prediction, Point or KO and 3 points for the correct winner but incorrect outcome.

Would anyone be up for this if I ran it?

If I can get at least 10 to 15 participants, it'll be worth running. Can trial it at 15 fights to start off and see how it goes?

I think it will be worth trialing with less than 10-15 if we can't get the numbers. Boxing is the kind of sport people have an opinion on even if they don't watch it often, so once it gets a bit of traction, I think more will want to give it a try

I'll look at starting this soon and see how many enter.

Should I list it here or in the General Topics?

Here would be best I imagine, but perhaps you could get away with general sport since it isn't too busy and wouldn't be as active as some other comps run.

Out of interest, what kind of time frame are we talking about with these rounds of 15 fights? Would you pick only main event fights and world title fights, or would you be picking from the main card for most large shows?

    I'll list it here.

A mixture of bouts as it would make it more interesting. Main events, undercard bouts, domestic bouts etc. Genuine 50/50 fights and more.

In terms of a time frame, I could post up 5 fights or all 15 2 weeks before the first bout. Will try and spread the time out so there is a break in between. If successful I'll increase to 20 fights for the next League.

How long would the 15 fights be spread out over? A month, 2 months?

Depends on the fights available. Hopefully just a month because I wouldn't want to drag it out too long. The league on the last forum was 30 fights over 3 to 4 months.
