She's not the brightest button in the tin is she?
Because what some crank did in a block of flats represents an entire bloc of citizens the country over.
Get a grip.
Exactly mate, of all my mates who like me voted for Brexit not one said it was because of them being racist they all said we will flourish away from The restrictive undemocratic EU making our own laws, our own immigration policy and making trade deals with the rest of the world.
Could easily have been put there by a remainer trying to make a point.
Even if it were. It wouldn't say anything about the millions of people who voted Remain.
It'd just tell us about what one crank is capable of. There's some absolute melts who voted Leave and some absolute gimps who voted Remain. Turnout was over 70% you're going to get allsorts of oddities on both sides popping up.
Firstly, undemocratic? The leadership posts are decided democratically by MEP's who we elect. That's more democracy there than the amount of power given to Cummings or Goldsmith who was rejected but is mates with Boris so keeps his job.
Secondly, which EU laws do you have an issue with?
Thirdly, yes in an ideal world we'll be able to make more and better free trade deals but surely you can understand that 27 countries collectively have more to offer to a massive country like China or India than the UK can alone. "India can we have some if that stuff you make please?" "Ok, what can you offer us in return?" "Erm... Not much really. Immigration?" "Sure!". It's also not like a trade deal can be done over night. I think I read on average from day 1 to implementation is around 3/4 years and we'll have to rush some of those through. Luckily we've already got some in place which we've taken forward from the EU but none of the big countries.
They are endorsed by MEPs, the Commissioners then propose legislation which goes to the parliament.
Fair play. Idiots aren't exclusive to just one side
Agree. While it is symbolic of the increasing tide of open, unguarded racism which has undoubtedly increased since 2016 it by no means represents the majority of leave voters.
I'm willing to assume that most racists (and probably all xenophobes) who bothered to vote in the referendum did vote Leave. I think that's a reasonable assumption to make. But, so what? I'm pretty sure most people who are prejudiced against the English voted for Scottish independence. That doesn't mean it would be fair to characterise Scottish independence as an inherently xenophobic endeavour or the campaign for it to be pandering to hatred of the English.
I don't know what there is to gain at this stage. It sure as hell won't help bring anybody together. The way to react tosomething as ridiculous as what was in that story is for people on both sides of the divide to be united in opposition to it. More productive though to take yet another swipe at people because that'll heal the rift won't it.
Could The UK electorate get rid of Tusk,Barnier or "Drunken" Juncker? No and they knew that they could do what they wanted as there was no chance of them being booted out of office.
It doesn't matter now as we're finally leaving and i can't wait until The EU goes tits up when other countries see how successful we are and will want to leave as well, Macron admitted recently that if France had a referendum on leaving The EU leave would win so that's why he refuses to hold a referendum, there is no such thing as democracy in The EU that's why i'm well chuffed we'll be out at the end of the year.
You shouldnt laugh but he done my head in during Brexit......hope he is ok.
Mr Stop Brexit 'attacked by anti-Remain protesters'
the stamp on the megaphone
Never heard of him tbh.
Shithouse move tripping the guy like that, maybe he is irritating but leave the guy alone. He's harmless.
yes was naughty that i just pissed myself at the stamp on the megaphone
You could set it to Benny Hill music and it'd be comical. It looks ridiculous, stepping on his megaphone and robbing his hat
Pound LIVE: GBP Sterling tumbles as Barnier makes strict demands for UK trade deal
"Project Fear", they said, appears to be the reality now. Wonder if the Express will take some ownership over their editorial rhetoric, or just blame it on remoaners?
"They need us more than we need them"
so it started at 1.18 and finished at 1.18 after the tumble
DON'T PANIC DON'T PANIC
Tbf ,they've been twinned with the word for a while now ,
Can I just say I am no longer a "Leaver", I am a "Remainer"........................remain out of the EU.
