    Diedhiou

    1-3. (Diedhiou 6’) (Mowatt 26’, Chaplin 41’, Woodrow 86’)

Ashton Gate is going to be toxic.

As if we're ever going to win at Ashton Gate  we never win at your gaff, and Little Lee always pulls something out the bag against us, the shit. This will be the start of one of his famous 8 win runs. Shortly followed by another 8 game losing streak. Repeat ad nauseum until your board finally chuck him in the Avon.

Dreading this game. When we do lose I hope he's chased from the field by an angry mob. Might try and sneak my pitch fork in.

Feelings running that high?....I thought his name might make him immune to any real spite?

Worried?.....Is your manager under same cosh as Johnson?...I still think it's gonna take a lot for us to stay up.

    A bit.

Not at all, hoping he signs a long-term contract in the coming days. He’s not had anywhere near the backing Lee Johnson has, in fact he’s had no backing at all  and the team has been decimated by injuries. Still very much the man for Charlton fans.

Hopefully. You must be remarkably shit to be that far below us though so I won’t count on you doing us a favour.

It’s got to that stage where I’m not really interested. I won’t be there, so I’ll just check the scores on my phone at 5pm and carry on with my Saturday boozing.

    Meh.

Probably be in the play offs if we win this, which would be an absolute farce. But we wont win.

    2-2.

How unrealistic are Bristol City fans in their general expectation of where they should be in the football ladder?......Never fails to amaze me.

Not very when you’re sold the dream by the owner every summer and then the investment matches it but the football always falls short.

A whole point outside the playoff spots just over halfway through season though mate, proper disastrous season so far to be fair.

People get sucked in by league position ( we haven't achieved anything). The football on show is awful. Hes brought in over 50 players whom half have barely played. He comes out with bullshit after every game. After four years he is still constantly changing formations, personel and hasn't any philosophy. We get outplayed nearly every game. Maybe not chances but we get hm taught how to move and pass by the opposition every week.

    It's boring!

Is it really top 6 investment though?

I'm not bashing Lansdown but let's be honest here we're not in the same ballpark as some of the teams in this league financially.
I generally hold the same view, but I do get the frustration because the football we are serving up is the type you can only get away with if you're greatly over-achieving. Something does need to change quickly IMO.

...we are owned by multiple billionaires......doesn't always mean splashing the cash though...as we found.....serious question not a swipe....but do you see your club as a potentially established top flight club?.....I don't see us as that.....Isn't this really your true level as well?

They're more a traditional upper third tier club.

They strike me as a solid Championship club really though...certainly within recent times overall.
