Although he extended his HSV contract before the season until 2020, it was also clear that he'll join Bayern. Either in summer 2019 or at the end of his contract.

This season he's more or less a mediocre player with still no goals and mostly only short appearances in the last minutes, although he played full time in the cup match against Nürnberg. But he's still very young and I hope he'll make his way.

I wish him all the best or as we say here: Tschüss und mach's gut!

    -*********************************

btw: Hope we won't draw Bayern in the Cup. Heidenheim would be good or Werder Bremen ;)

Jesus, Dortmund. 3-0 in front, let loose then and 3-3 at the end, again like the cup match on tuesday. 3rd match in a row without a win (counting the cup loss too). If you don't want the points then Bayern will make it again.

Gladbach, the same. Could reach a new club record with the 13th home win in a row and were outplayed by bloody Hertha BSC 0-3

Would be really depressing if Dortmund threw it away.

The big game is when Dortmund play in Munich.

How's our Fonzie Davies doing at Bayern? The talent that lad showed in front of us was way beyond anything I have ever seen in the MLS.

Quarterfinal draw for the DFB Pokal:

    Schalke 04 vs Werder Bremen
    Bayern München vs FC Heidenheim
    SC Paderborn vs HSV
    RB Leipzig vs FC Augsburg

So, at least one from Bundesliga 2 in the semi finals (hopefully it's HSV)

    ****************************

    Sunday's matches from Buli1:

    Werder Bremen vs Augsburg 4-0
Fortuna Düsseldorf vs VfB Stuttgart 2-0 (still playing)

So far 33 goals in 9 matches. Not bad.

edit: Fortuna won 3-0 at the end!

Apparently Robert Hoyzer will be refereeing the Paderborn - Hamburg game again :smokin:

Bundesliga is obviously a massive step up from the MLS for an 18 year old. Really hope he makes it -- he's such a fun player to watch.

    Halt's Maul, zippy

When I remember this game I could still strangle this guy. The HSV players already knew it during this match that it was manipulated by him.

The NDR already made a story about this right after the draw.
Als Robert Hoyzer den HSV in Paderborn verpfiff

Today is one of the hated Monday night games in the Bundesliga: 1.FC Nürnberg vs Borussia Dortmund
After Bayern's 3-2 win on Friday in Augsburg there's even more pressure on Dortmund. They can't afford to draw or even lose at last place Nürnberg. But the Clubberer have a new (interims-)coach and new sporting director and can't afford to give a single point either. Will be interesting.

    Bundesliga 2:

After now 22 matchdays it's time for showing the actual standings again :whistle

HSV drew 2-2 in Heidenheim (they have their best season ever and even reached the quarterfinals in the Cup), Köln lost 2-3 in Paderborn. And St.Pauli lost at home against Erzgebirge Aue...Aua :D

Paderborn is really a Rollercoaster team, they went from Bundesliga 1 into 4th League in successive seasons. Only because 1860 Munich got no license for the 3rd League they could stand in it and were promoted to Bundesliga 2 the next season and now they can even look at promotion to Bundesliga 1. If they really do it this would be a first I think. From 1st to 4th(3rd after the 1860 debacle) and right back from 3rd to 1st in successive seasons?
But I hope they fail (and in the Quarterfinal of the Cup against HSV, too).

    Is that you, mm? Bienvenue!

Dortmund can't win anymore. 5th competitive match in a row without a win (but at least they didn't get 3 goals again as in the last 3 matches :D)

Now we have the situation that Bayern is in range and can win the title by own efforts when they win the 2nd leg against Dortmund in München, they don't have to rely on others anymore that they can steal some points of Borussia. That's very frustrating for the rest of the Bundesliga clubs and their fans (and also for fans of future Bundesliga1 clubs ;). No matter how big the gap is, Bayern can close it somehow. Fatal! I hope they'll advance in the Champions League (and Dortmund out of it after their 0-3 against Spurs) and concentrate more on winning the CL than another Deutscher Meister title. Prayers!
