I would like Arminia for 16th, but would also settle for Hertha

Was going for momentum. No coverage of the German lower leagues (or any other foreign league for that matter) in France sadly.

Good ground, nothing fancy is VfL's. I prefer Magdeburg's though.

Must have walked it (I like walking) but don't remember it being particularly long. The train ride back to Köln is far though. Away end with the Blues?

I like walking too so no problem cheers. Yes, meeting friends from Magdeburg for their Meisterfeier, back to Hildesheim after the game.

Bundesliga's final matches are today, but 2.Bundesliga's are tomorrow. Is it a common thing to have 2. Bundesliga end after Bundesliga?

Yes. Save the best for last :D

At the last matchday all games are played at the same time in the leagues.
Liga 3 finishes also today, with all games kick off 1:30pm, Bundesliga 1 follows at 3:30pm and the most exciting league, Bundesliga 2, follows tomorrow at 3:30pm.

Very little to play for in the Buli is there? Can't see Freiburg beating Leipzig to 4th which is virtually the only undecided thing.

Can't wait for tomorrow though. Gonna be huge!

I remember that top 4 being in the highest league albeit some time ago !

Guess it’s a bit like Sunderland, Ipswich , Charlton etc being in the 3rd tier .

All 4 were once German Champions
Although Magdeburg was only 3-times Champions in the 70's of the East German Oberliga and they never played 1.Bundesliga so far. But in the 70's they were also a force in Europe, winning the European Cup Winners Cup in 1974

re Magdeburg: Seems that zippy witnessed a fine match today in Osnabrück. FCM winning 5-1 at the Bremer Brücke.

#16 spot still undecided. If Stuttgart wins against Köln (actually 1-1, though) and Hertha loses in Dortmund then they would switch places. But actually Hertha is leading 1-0 in Dortmund.

edit: Haaland with the 1-1 in his last match for BVB, penalty again. This is still enough for Hertha to stay away from the relegation playoffs.

Stuttgart scored a winner against Koln in the 92bd minute !

Both finish on 33pts but Stuttgart stay in Bundesliga on a better GD.

Hertha drop to the relegation playoff place.

Indeed missed that spot. Serves Hertha right. Hope they lose the play-off to whoever finishes 3rd tomorrow.

Glatzel equalises for HSV in Rostock. Come on HSV! Keep going! Darmstadt are leading 3:0 v Paderborn. Anything less than a win won't do.

Hurry up Hamburg! Don't they understand the danger they're in? By pure instinct they should be overwhelming Hansa with wave after wave of attacks. Instead, the game still looks even. Kittel missed a major chance for the lead, though.

2:1 for HSV, get in! Now go on for the 3:1 so that the 'Deckel' is' drauf'! No complacency!
