Nathan Wood made his debut for us tonight becoming the youngest player to ever play for us at 16 and 75 days. Remember the name, he looks streets ahead of anyone I’ve seen under 18. Phenomenal talent.

hoping for one of AFC Wimbledon, Cheltenham, Forest Green, Exeter, Newport, Oxford or Wycombe as i've not been to any of those grounds yet, expecting Crystal Palace, as per f*cking usual.

Literally the same hopes as me.. would love Forest Green away. Midwerk trip to a ground I have never been to, in the middle of nowhere. Sounds brilliant!

Wouldnt mind QPR away or Brentford away though as its so easy.

We always get home games in the league cup, for the past 5 years or so im sure.

****ing Reading. Been there about 10 times and the most soulless stadium going.

Will probably still go but what a load of shit.

Well we did actually beat them in a League Cup tie in 2005 - about the last year we won some games in this.

Think it was earlier than that no? 2003 where we won 3-0? We got to the semis and lost to Liverpool I think.

That was the FA Cup when we lost to Southampton in the semis.

    Both were under Lewington.

Someone understands why I didn't bother. I'll go back in the league, only because it's the last game of the season.

yeah I wasn't impressed by this. Another Championship team, and they play them again 3/4 days later in a league match. At least with a League 1/2 team, its a change to the usual league matches.

Decent pricing for our game against Brighton, £12 for adults and £6 for kids, would've probably gone anyway as it's easy to get to but it's a nice incentive.

Still be surprised if we sell 3k tickets for what will effectively be a reserve game, but reckon that'll put a few more on the attendence

Brighton are going into that on the back of that United win, so they'll be up for keeping that streak going. Should be a decent match for the price, even if they do use their reserve players.

Be amazed if we don't play a combination of a second string, few first teamers trying to find fitness and kids. To be honest i'm just treating it as a bit of a jolly, kind of like a pre-season game (as much as i'd love a cup run)
