    Meh. Well done Boro.

We woke up in the final 20 minutes but still created f*ck all and looked pretty clueless. If getting the ball wide and continuously crossing it onto the heads of Ayala and Batth was the tactic then Roy should be sacked on the spot. It's as if he's never seen a Pulis team before. Play through them (like we did at WBA) and we may have had some joy.

Having seen it back their goal shouldn't have stood as Braithwaite blatantly handballed it in the build-up, and we arguably could've had a penalty at the end, but I'm not going to make excuses as Boro wanted it more and created the better chances.

Good luck in the next round @BoroWill.

Not sure I agree on the goal, Braithwaite was barged in to by wank biscuits.

Thanks for the good luck, really wasn’t expecting to get through this round so I’m happy to be in the pot for the quarter finals.

Watched the replay a couple of times and he clearly handballs it more than once. Definitely no foul from AWB.

Like I said we were shit and you wanted it more though so I don't have any complaints.

Burton in the next round, bloody brilliant. My choice would’ve been them or one of the big boys. Great chance for both teams to get to the semi finals.

Just seen that. Talk about rubbing salt into the wounds.

At least a lower league side are guaranteed to be in the semis :)

West Ham were pretty poor until Arnautovic came on and gave them a threat.

They scored and lifted the crowd and suddenly the momentum switched.
Someone in the West Ham end ran on the pitch just before we had a corner though which killed a bit of concentration and we scored to put us 3-1 up.

Decent win but we'll be out in the next round.

Might be a full stadium next round :p although I doubt ticket prices will remain at £10/£20!

Remember Everton taking saints lightly in last round.

Cahill aged me about 10 years last night... should never be given the ball in open play.... It looked like Derby targeted him once he got the ball press him into a mistake... It worked as well. A good defender but awful with the ball.

Best player on the pitch last night was a Chelsea player... unfortunately we loaned him out to Derby FFS

Palace could have had Burton at home to reach the semis but another club who'd rather put a reserve side out than try and win something.

It's pretty much a reserves competition until the semis at least.

We put out a reserve side as well. Palace should've won if they'd turned up, even with the team they put out.

Like Will says we should've still won with the team we put out, but we were absolutely dire. Our 'tactics' were baffling.

I'm with you though, when you have a winnable game to get into the quarter finals of a major cup you should play a relatively strong side and go for it. We just went through the motions and didn't once look like scoring. The fans who travelled up there to watch that utter shite last night deserve a personal refund from every player (bar AWB). Such a wasted opportunity.

We were okay until Guendouzi got sent off imo. Completely lost it after that. Guendouzi was great up to that point though.

Not sure which game you were watching. He was voted MOTM on our forum.

Granted I probably could've won MOTM last night, but still.
