Top of the league without him so not to worry now B Silva has moved into the middle
Your squad strength is top notch, still always nice to have one of your best players fit and playing though.
Arsenal v Spurs only a tenner.
Great / terrible news. Fantastic for the fans but additionally means no chance of getting a ticket for most
Chelsea charging us £25
Bournemouth only taking 3000 tickets
Tickets sorted for the Spurs game. £20 for the pair
I missed out unfortunately / expectedly.
Plenty left in the home end surprisingly for the price on offer
That is surprising. Still a few weeks away I guess.
A friend applied for me and he has... 301 points
(Cut off was 300)
Already getting excited for our game tomorrow, ticket prices and availability means that a few old heads are traveling, that haven't been to a match in years, not only that we're all sitting together.
Hopefully we don't f**k about and field a full strength team. A 2-0 win and then a quarter against a weakened Man C.
Even without a full strength team you'll beat us at the moment, we're bloody terrible.
think this could be the team, not quite full strength but not far off
Ricardo Soyuncu Evans Chilwell
Albrighton Ghezzal (if fit) Gray
I’d be happy with that, especially if Silva gets a game.
Really enjoyed that, a blast from the past and a real rarity for me these days. Bunch of oldies (youngest 49 oldest 60) getting lubricated pre match and watching the game with all the accompanying silly slobber and banter.
Not sure what's happening with football these days, the attendance was really poor. We couldn't actually see any Southampton fans from where we were seated, but the amount of empty home seats was disappointing. Some must have traveled because one of our number arrange a meet with a saints fan from another forum (not the s****y one with all the adverts), unfortunately he had trouble parking and so we didn't actually meet up. Good job probably the mood we were in he might have taken some s***t (verbal), then again given the apparent views of a lot of Southampton fans on here he might have agreed with us.
On to the game, I thought there was only one likely winner until our manager just couldn't resist his negative tendencies and sub Silva and Nacho of on 60 mins and brought on Mendy.
That said he did keep his head to score the winning penalty, so can't grumble. We're in the Quarters, Wembley here we come.
Mark Hughes bemoaning VAR this time as it ruled out a goal for Southampton due to a handball .
Well that is what the system will bring - its own inconsistencies and frustrations.
First time I've seen it used live, something must of changed because the ref didn't even review it. Still way to long before a decision is reached, but I was actually surprised by the reaction of the home fans, both in chanting for it and then in the level of celebration when the original decision was finally overturned.
Can't believe the idiots in the SSN studio were saying it should have stood, only reason he was able to play the final pass was because he handled it
There was just under 2000 in the usual corner. But ill forgive you old boys as your eyesight must be giving up the ghost by now

Apologies then, that seems a decent turnout for a midweek game, there just appeared to be a whole section empty.
I knew there were some there because your players went over and celebrated wildly in front of them when you scored. Shame about that.
