I think he'll almost certainly start. After being taken off early against Southampton I fully expect Gray to start up front for us against Liverpool.

Just the 9 changes from us then...

    Moreira
    Bree Tuanzebe Elphick Taylor
    De Laet Hourihane Lansbury Adomah
    El Ghazi
    Hepburn-Murphy

It could be that, or a 5-4-1 with De Laet dropping into the defence (where? You decide! Probably RWB/CB tbf), with El Ghazi taking his place on the wing.

Oh, and we don't have a striker on the bench, which is fun.

Watched all of our game except for one minute where I got a phone call.

We scored during that one minute.

There was no replay of the goal.

    FFS.

    Que sera sera! :disco

In all honesty we were dogshit for the majority of the game, but it was a makeshift team and we got the win so happy days.

Pleased for Sorloth who needed a goal. Hopefully that'll give him a bit of confidence. Meyer and Kouyate looked a little rusty but should improve with more game time. Guaita solid enough in goal and made a couple of decent stops.

Hopefully we get a kinder draw in the next round.

You may as well support Leeds the amount you talk about them.

Well that was a pretty f*cking dire game of football. Looked like a friendly game at times and the second string of both sides looked happy to just go through the motions.

But we won and are in the hat for the next round which is all I can ask for.

Absolutely shocking turnout from Brighton today. The entire stand behind the opposite goal was closed and at times it felt like there was more away fans than home fans.

It used to annoy me but it's basically an annual event now so may as well embrace it

PS - Brighton only managed 14,000 when they played us in the FA Cup last season (and about 3,000 of them were Palace fans). Really pathetic support from the padded seat happy clappers. They're only interested if their favourite 'EPL' heroes are playing.

Cruised through really, played alright first half but stepped it up after half time. Traore was class, great to see Leo Bonatini get a goal and really good to see a few of the U23s get some first team minutes. Bring on round three!
