I'm not too concerned tbh. It was a shite performance but you had so many players in that team last night who had been in and out of the squad anyway over the past couple of weeks.

Firmino and Minamino have both been on injury layoffs.

VVD, Alisson, Matip, TAA and Fabinho were out with COVID in the past 2 weeks.

Robertson was out for 3 games suspension, and picked up a knock on the weekend.

Jota, Henderson and Milner are the only 3 without any excuse for how out the game they were.

For whatever reason Klopp went very conservative in midfield. Had the fullbacks been on it then it would have probably worked, but it was clear it wasn't and he didn't act quickly enough to change it.

    Lol, "arsenal fan reporter".

I will say, it is weird having "journalists" reporting who are essentially just fans of the clubs. I do not understand the gain of it.

I'm surprised none of our midfielders or strikers took note of Matip's directness and thought to themselves 'wait a minute I can do that'

    Absolute disgrace from the Kop.

When Arsenal fans are overpowering your home crowd and your piped in accompaniment, it's time to stop boasting about your atmosphere - in my neutral opinion.

Looks like the Arsenal fans became the 11th man. Liverpool's support cost their team the win.

People continue to not be concerned about our team, while it's clear as daylight we need a midfielder and a forward.
We are wasting Klopp and this team's potential. And this is not a reaction from yesterday's draw. It's been showing for a while now, and will probably cost us major titles.

But as long as we finish in the top 4, FSG are happy.

I don't even acknowledge transfer windows anymore ,they're just deflating in the extreme if you're naive enough to believe we will act within them. I don't get this aversion the club has with procuring deals in the Jan window ? The noises coming out of Anfield today are that we will keep our powder dry till the summer to bring in players like Bellingham and Bowen and then before you know it Summer passes another January is upon us and its the familiar rinse and repeat. Yeah, I just don't bother now fella ,just let them pass as quickly and as painless as possible and if the owners release the purse strings and we bring someone in its a minor f*cking miracle more than a pleasant surprise.

Same here regarding transfer window. I don't expect any signings.

The only thing that bugs me is that we are wasting the potential of a good manager. There's no guarantee when Klopp leaves his replacement will be good.

Hard to see where this gets moved to unless Liverpool agree to play the game during what is an agreed upon winter break period. After that they have no free dates up until the intended date for the final. Arsenal currently have 3 games after Thursday up until the 27th Feb, whilst Liverpool are scheduled to play 6.

Unless the issue is a further outbreak of COVID then hard to see them getting it postponed, but who knows anymore.

Why does it seem like only the Premier League is having issues with COVID? Out of the top 5 leagues in Europe, I believe only 1 match has been postponed due to COVID outside the Premier League. Other sports are not having major issues like this either.

This mess is all the leagues doing. Stop counting injuries as an excuse. Make teenagers play and only postpone matches where teams have loads of covid players. The season is becoming a mess.

Is it not because all the other leagues had a winter break??

Not to mention the London rates for covid were ridiculous, and a fair few teams are London based.

They have different rules on squad availability.
