The reality is and people need to accept it. There is no plan in place. If Lennon and his staff finally leave or get sacked it's back to the drawing board.

We are grossly mismanaged at so many levels, the financial clout we have had over other clubs in recent years has set in complacency from top to bottom and papered over the cracks of a disfunctional set up.

Peter Lawwell’s statement today showed how much change is required at the top.

Him and those at that level are so detached from the ordinary fan.

Worst Celtic side in 25 years, not even in question.

How can we get taken from a team that has won everything Infront of them with relative ease to a team that could be lucky to finish second, all in the space of 12 months.

One of the more prominent Celtic podcasts saying that Eddie Howe has been lined up for the job.

Eddie Howie being hotly tipped to be the next Celtic manager.

What do we make of him?, He is 100% an upgrade on Neil Lennon but can he take us back to the level of professionalism we had under Rodgers.

I think it could be a good appointment and one which hopefully gets these players back to playing tomthe ability we know they have.

Callum McGregor saying yesterday after the game the players didn't understand the game was a damning endorsement of where we are atm and it's not the first time he has said it this season.

Was it a cry for help?.

Lots of talk of you getting Eddie in. Really surprised he'd move that far away, it would be a big change having been on the south coast, mainly with us, man and boy. With the exception of his tricky 18 months at Burnley where they never took to him.

If it happens - Howe isn't a short term manager. If you want the best out of him you give him a couple of seasons to get his patterns of play across to a squad. Lots of width, he's all about full backs and wingers. You will concede soals, get used to that.

At this juncture I would be willing to take a punt on someone like Howe. The main concerns would be the difference in what would be expected of him here than at a club like Bournemouth and whether he would be able to handle the scrutiny and environment. The professionalism would definitely be there though.

I feel the same way in regards to McGregor’s comments in interviews this season. It’s like he is just stopping short of what he really wants to say. The difference in his performances this season compared with previous is remarkable.

I think he is a tremendous player, but has been dragged down a few levels this term. That can all change again under new leadership.

If it is to happen it needs to happen now.

The league is over, the Scottish cup will probably be postponed this season again so we have nothing to play for.

Bring him in, let him look at the squad and get his methods across to go get our title back next season.

Any further delay is only going to hurt us more, and remember we still have CL quals even if we finish second so we need to be prepared.

The problem up here is that you don’t get the time.

Managers pretty much need to hit the ground running, because we know that if we aren’t hoovering up the trophies our rivals will.

Unless there was a completely radical outlook from club and fans in particular, I can’t see folk accepting a scenario of not winning the league for a season or two in the hope of something better round the corner.

I can’t remember a time when we have ever been fully prepared for the qualifiers, but I agree that something needs to happen now.

Get the new guy in and allow him to suss out the players he wants to keep and the ones he wants rid of.

The good thing about someone like Howe (if it were to be him) is his vast knowledge of the leagues down south and his reputation could attract a few gems who otherwise may not have come up here.

It’s a bad day when I feel nothing on hearing Rangers are a goal down.

We would be better just shutting up shop for the year.

    Embarrassing press conference from Lennon.

The man needs taken out of this situation for his own health.

On and off the park we just can't get nothing right and this monumental season that was to top of two decades of success has completely come of the tracks due to mis-management at all levels of the club.

No one should survive this shit show but I expect I will be saying the same in a month time.

Earlier in the season Neil spoke of a culture change that was required.

He is correct, but not the sort of change he had in mind.

Lennon won't last the week, won't he? He basically said the opposite to what Lawell said.

    A total car crash.

Livingston are 4/1 to beat us tomorrow

After Saturday’s game that is very generous odds.

I thought it was one of the best performances I’ve seen from a domestic side against us at home this season.
