not sure what to expect tonight. I've heard Leverkusen r 10th in the Bundesliga hopefully that bodes well for us.

    i'll take a draw if i'm honest.

Draw would do. Win the 'home' games and you'll qualify. Win in Monaco and we'll balance out the first game.

Been good fun so far although a few fans smashing bottles and glasses for no reason letting us down and spoiling our reputation a bit.

Could happily stay here forever though haha

    good result overall.

we were poor in the 2nd half but we got the result. 2 wins at home puts us through.... I think

my lord we absolutely SUCK at the moment. I was dejected last night.we were pathetic. we really r going out with a whimper. what a shame after our great campaign of 10/11.

I do think janssen has taken away the attention from sissoko. what a pile of shit he has been. Newcastle fans must be laughing their tits off.

Four points from 2 away is a good return. Just been poor at 'home'.

Not even a question of being beaten by a better team as was the case with Dortmund in March, we just don't look like we want it enough.
Embarrassment and the atmosphere equally poor.

Still think we can win two games and sneak through but 4 probably won't be enough now. Don't win in Monaco and we can battle it out for a Europa League place with CSKA in the final game.

If we play like that against the rent boys they'll rip us to pieces. There's problems which need sorting and fast if we're going to keep going up or are we going to revert to the Spurs of old and settle for 5th 6th and 7th place. Tonight proved our squad is not quite as strong as everyone as been making out. If Kane doesn't score no other player is stepping up to the mark.

Let's be honest. Tottenham are much more at home in the Europa League anyway.

Out of their depth in the CL.

EDIT: Just noticed your CL thread didn't even make it to a 3rd page

what a limp way to end our pathetic, spineless joke of a CL campaign. embarrassing next to the glory campaign of 2010/11 when we really had a great stab at it. really really poor campaign made all the more annoying because we haven't even been in the same group as any of the SUPER CLUBs. If we'd have been put to the sword in a group that contained say Barcelona or Real or Bayern orJuventus then I probably wouldn't have minded so much. WE'VE been made to look distinctly average by both moncao and Leverkusen. :(

at this rate theres no doubt we'd even get that. I wonder if poch will play a B team against CSKA?
many might see the EL as a budern or maybe poch might see it as a viable route back in the CL?

Really disappointed with Poch after last night who's hung the squad out to dry and taken no blame of his own for our failure. I don't care what 11 you put out when you set up as we did last night.
He's also come out and questioned our mentality but how much money would you put on him throwing the CSKA game to avoid the Europa?

The squad may not be fantastic but it was good enough to get through that group.
Gave up looking for yours :whistle

To be fair there's a combination of reasons to the lack of pages. The main two being:
    - The club forums are dead (not just ours). Arsenal, Leicester and City have all had fewer posts regarding their Champions League campaign in their own sub forum. I've mostly been posting in the European section in regards to the matches and competition as a whole which is where most of the activity seems to be.
    - Most of the comments in these sort of threads also happen to be during the game. In all fairness a good few of our fans have been at the games so not on here commenting. I've been to 3 of the 5 games (and will be at CSKA).

Irrelevant anyway. If he shows the same contempt for the competition as he did last season we might aswell go out now.

I love European football but if Poch isn't going to take the Europa seriously why bother.

Nothing to do with fans going missing after a loss.... look at the Chelsea posters on here since last season.

Pretty shameful attitude from Pochettino if so as he doesn't seem to take anything but the league seriously, just to qualify for a competition he's going to throw away again.

No. There's been little activity in here for months. As is the case with the various club forums.

I don't think you can accuse us of hiding, there's been a good few post since last night's game and then the likes of SpursLegend are in Monaco.

    It's frustrating mate.

Poch has taken no blame for this qualification campaign and we've been fortunate to get 4 points in truth. We weren't great in Moscow (although ten times better than our other performances) and our other point was in Leverkusen which we really should have lost.

Going to the game tomorrow. First time ever at Wembley

Anyone know of any decent pubs in/around the ground to go before the game?

guessing they are in close proximity to the ground.
hope so anyway- don't really know the surrounding area. based on the aerial view of the stadium there appear to be a fair few bars in/around the stadium.
