    LOL yeah 100% record

great evening overall. nice to pop my Wembley cherry finally. I was in the upper tier behind the goal we were shooting in the first half. was worried that it would be too high up but as it turned it the view was still pretty decent. you could clearly make out who all the individual players were so was fine. although I still ideally i'll try and get middle tier on the side next time. plenty of opportunities over the next 18 months I guess.and we got the win so that made it all the more enjoyable

what a mission to get out of the ground though. that Olympic way was just a sardine patch of human beings. took my about an hour from the stadium to get on the tube at Wembley park. probably an idea next time to stay in a pub and drink for an hour or so. :)

Feeling slightly better about our European failings... Given Monaco have knocked out city and are still top of the French league.

In retrospect seems they may have been underestimated before this season

Typical we get them as the 4th seed in our group.

I take no pleasure from the games against City tbh. They also conceded 6 goals which shows you can get at them at the other end.
City going out doesn't make our failings to get out of the group (and then losing to Gent) any less embarrassing imo.

Just hoping we can put it right and show we're better than that next season.

    just saying....

it's a slight consolation to realise that they actually were a really good team. I think at the time more people (bookies) dismissed them. but now we know that they r a force to be reckoned with.
