Can’t see where the next win comes from, rot well and truly set in.

It’s going to be cold, we’re going to lose and Grant will score.

    Depressing.

    Those were the days.

We still are to be fair.

Definitely the sort of games we need to look to be winning but then again so are the ones against Luton and Boro albeit they were away from home.

He'll be in his element stood in the Trilton. Don't get lads like them following Villa.

Apologies for derailing the thread but is it ever lively in the concourse at HT for games at St Andrews Stan?

Saw a video of your fans in ours at AG when we stayed up and did look a laugh. The away concourse at St Andrews was like a zoo at half time back in August

Ain’t seen it at home but see it all the time away at half time. Beer chucking, flares lit, mostly young lads.

Similar to us then, only home game I've ever seen it is when we did Man Utd. Find the concept of lobbing a grim £5 pint odd but ah well.

Anyway Stan, Rock coming down to St Andrews is a good chance to test the grass text line out Stan. Text in and say you've identified a Villa fan who's led down in his row caked in shit.

Think there is 20+ injuries between the two sides. Won't be a classic that's for sure

Not going to be one for the purist but at this stage now, I’ll take that as long as we can nick a 1-0.

Grant is absolutely guaranteed to score though.

Not a lot, even though a lot of it probably isn't even his fault.

He was given a lot of chances and was truly dreadful, over several years and I mean really bad yet we stuck with him. Ended up loaning him to Crawley where he found some goal scoring form, finally. Had a full pre-season with us (after being arrested for suspected rape in Ibiza when again, we stood by him) and a good first half of last season, as soon as Huddersfield came sniffing, he was off.

Now can you really blame a kid for wanting to go to the PL? Not really. Did he have much of a say considering who our owner is/was? Possibly not.

Still, something just doesn't sit right with me that we had to endure him stinking the place out for years before he finally had a good 4 months and jumped ship at the first opportunity when we were challenging for promotion.

I wont boo him, a lot will though so you just know what is going to happen.

We're having a nightmare at the moment with players downing tools, admitting they're not trying and generally trying to force moves away

Grant on the other hand has been the perfect professional and worked his nuts off in every game and every training session by the sounds of it. The Cowleys love him. His touch might not be the best but you can't deny how good a finisher he is. A cracking signing at 2 million and he'll probably move on for ten times that, a lot of which will find it's way to Chalrton no doubt

No, ta. Must admit, I asked to see if you wanted any recommendations but have only just realised you're in Colchester.

Although I will be having a couple of pints on Leadenhall Street just after 5.
