    Should have backed the double.

1-1 Sunderland draws are regular occurrences .

    Fair result , Sunderland 1st half , Pompey 2nd .

Nice goal by Portsmouth gives them the lead late on .

    EDIT: 2-2 .

    Going to penalties.

I assume all those blue flags are waving in protest as an alternative to the boycott? Can't be celebrating winning this "joke" competition, surely.

Jackett's record at this level is brilliant.

Two promotions and two football league trophies, as well as two more play-off final defeats and he's very much in the hunt for a third promotion.

Good to see him doing well.

Both sets of fans have came out of the woodwork for this game. No way I’d go.

As a neutral I thought it was a great game & advert for lower League Football even if it's a competition that if it disappeared tomorrow no one would miss with crowds of around & sometimes under 1,000 in the early rounds.

Of the 3 ex Posh players on show , Burgess was by far the pick , I feel we've robbed Sunderland getting £250 k for Baldwin , a mistake waiting to happen in every game , & Bogle was Bogle :fail:

Oh dear, I would concentrate on yet another terrible season and your shower desperately trying to make a playoff place if I were you. Not sure you're in a position to take the piss.

Mate you're struggling to get out of League One and have just taken 40,000 or so supporters to a final in a competition which has B teams in it.

Anyone is in a position to take the piss out of your lot right now.

Brilliant advert for the 3rd tier. Both teams played well but as a neutral I’d have to say Pompey edged it.

Best match of the weekend by a mile

No it wouldn't because other countries don't have these pointless Mickey mouse cups. I wouldn't open the curtains to watch it if they were playing in my garden.
