Disappointing that it was a sloppy goal that decided the game hit City well worth the 3 points today.

You can’t give a great attacking side like City 100 corners to try and score against you. They’re going to punish you eventually as they did today.

I don’t think the gap between the teams is anywhere near where it’s been in the past so I still feel we can challenge this year.

Werner and Lukaku need to do better if we want to win these big games.

Would have preferred a draw, but that's better than a Chelsea win.

Chelsea should have made more of an effort in the first half, they can have no complaints.

Great performance from city. Thoroughly deserved their win, it should have been more.
Still don’t think there will be much between these 2 sides come the end of the season

City completely superior today. Man for man and game management. Thought before City’s goal we saw the same level of cowardice and reactiveness similar to Conte’s 2nd season. Poor from Tuchel there. What’s interesting is that Pep is displaying the same tactics he did against Conte. Pin the wingbacks in their own half.

Important we get Chilwell and James back ASAP because they are so vital in our system.

For me, the big takeaway from this game was City's pressing.

I've always bigged up Guardiola's ability to get superb pressing from his teams and today was another showing of that trait. For me, it's what has defined his teams and for me, his best weapon.

Maybe not playing Havertz was a mistake for Chelsea but I'm sure they had a plan and I'm sure that plan didn't account for an incredible performance without the ball from City.

So this side who “could do the season unbeaten” have been “put in their place” with a 1-0 defeat? Brilliant.

    You can’t make it up.

Yeah, they have been put in their place by a team who have won the title 3 times in 4 seasons. It was a poor performance and you acknowledged that yourself so not sure why you're getting so riled up?

Chelsea have ground to make up and the side they technically have to make that ground up to just comfortably beat them.

I’m merely pointing out your fickleness and contradictions of your own opinion.

I look forward to you building us up again the next time we win.

Never have I ever witnessed a fan get irked by someone praising their team, lol.

As I said, happy to be proven wrong. Enjoy your weekend, child.

And a quick word for a player who's very underrated, Rodri had a great game against Kovacic and Kante.

Why is SkySports headline of the game mentioning it was a Thriller?

From what some have suggested,City dominated and Tuchel played a million defensive mids.

Rodri was the best player on the putch today, and never got a look in in the MOTM discussion. I’m not his biggest fan tbf, but he was faultless today, genuine 10/10. rest of the team barely managed a 7, except meybe Ruben.

Yeah, was only one side in the game. Chelsea couldn't muster a shot on target at home and City should have had 3.
