Take Chelsea out of it buddy. You showed how fickle and clueless you are about the game but don’t worry I’ll continue to look forward to future posts of footballing wisdom from you. Giggs was average wasn’t he?

Just seen Chelsea didn't have a single shot on target. No excuse for that at home, regardless of the opposition.

They've had a good start and have played some very difficult games. But Tuchel has some questions to answer after the tactics in that game, particularly in the first half. I wasn't being sarcastic when I said they were playing like the visiting team.

Still, Southampton at home next weekend. A good opportunity to bounce back with a convincing display.

Interested to hear his post match. Thought I was watching a Conte performance.

It was all too reactive from Tuchel. We saw this same level of management ruin managers ala Mourinho and Conte. It was quite clear he didn’t want the midfielders to adventure forward until after the goal.

Performances were poor sure but personally the underlying issue was the set up. Just one of those bizarre decisions from Tuchel much like the FA Cup final.

The only positive today for me was Loftus Cheek. It’s clear he need a lot more game time to get used to system but he looked very sharp and I like the idea of him in pivot.

Fingers crossed Tuchel will give him games. City fully deserved 3 points today, their press were excellent and made it difficult for us to play out the back. Tuchel got the tactics wrong today imo, far too defensive.

Issue is that he offers the same thing as Kovacic and Kante. He plays with either of them it will expose the midfield.

It’s the very reason why I wanted a ‘sitter’ like Jorginho this summer.

It's early and it's only one game, but I do wonder if the likes of Alan Shearer will now take another look at his believe that Chelsea are the team to beat.

Will our fourth choice central midfielder we’ve signed on loan not play because Loftus-Cheek came on? Of course he will but he’s still at the bottom of the pecking order while he acclimatises to the the league.

If he takes he chances, of course he will play. If he continues to put in performances like the ones so far, then not so much.
