Just the sort of thing we'd do at Leyton Orient. If we survive our next winding up order then we'll be renewing old rivalries with some of you in the National League. We are in complete disarray at the moment so it's anyone's guess where we'll be next season, or even IF we'll be anywhere.

Know the feeling bud. We came second with 98 points ( ninety eight points FFS ) and fluffed it in the playoff final. Is gutting losing in the one match that matters.

It's the unsustainability that bothers me most and the way it distorts the competition. Forest Green are from a tiny village of 5000 odd with absolutely no prospect of building up a sustainable Football League sized fanbase and are just a plaything for an eccentric rich eco warrior. You'd think with him being so into the environment and sustainability he'd have invested into a club that had a chance of standing on it's own two feet long term without him?

Similar with Crawley and Fleetwood (although not as extreme) in the sense that they're completely reliant on their owner's funding and would collapse down the leagues and probably go bust if the plug was pulled. I've no problem with small clubs rising up against the odds like Burton who have done things sustainably with a gradual build up on and off the pitch with excellent leadership and management. They're punching above their weight but have worked their way up legitimately without a sugar daddy throwing money at them.

You were the example I was worried about when Tranmere missed out and unfortunately history repeated itself. I just hope they don't now collapse into mid table like Wrexham did.

When we were first relegated, the joke was on Forest Green as they were a country bumpkin village club who had a ripped off version of Barca's logo. It's ridiculous that a team from a place that small and remote is now a football league club.

    Football is all about money.

Can't blame Forest Green for that.

Agree with you, we have not got two pennies to rub together but if a very rich person invested loads of dosh the fans would not care if it got us back into the FL.

He's probably been contemplating another whole season of trips to Bromley,Eastleigh and Gateshead for Wirral's galacticos.

I think Tranmere will go up next year.

Still a few new money clubs to compete with though (Eastleigh Fylde, Ebbsfleet).

Most of the big ex-league clubs are back there now (Grimsby, Lincoln, Oxford, Luton). Orient have joined them but unlikely to be in any shape to challenge next season. Wrexham need to start challenging again too.

Firstly I'm not a 'wum',as you put it and even if I was why would that necessitate a ban?
Banter is part of football,or so I always thought.
