no he wants Champions League, we'll have to drop him off in Copenhagen ;)

In all seriousness we should play Ward in this competition, he needs the games and its significantly weaker then Europa League

A shame but given the upcoming fixture congestion that's kinda ok I guess.

Doubt it'll make much difference but it'll be interesting to see what our response is.

We should appeal really but might take the decision that we're better off out of Europe, particularly having had 3 league games postponed since the Rennes game.

UEFA's shittyness aside, this is why we're out.

We can moan about forfeiting a game out of our control but if we'd taken the Vitesse away game seriously we'd be through already. To take such a weak team to the Netherlands and then go out at their expense is criminal.

UEFA doing no favours for English teams Shocker.

This might be a blessing for Spurs. I wouldn't rule out a push for top 4 now.

Think the blessing for us is we go out with a sense of injustice. Doubt we'd have won it despite our favourites tag anyway so would have gone out with a sense of embarrassment at some point.

Precedent set from UEFA. You'd assume there'll be some knockout ties decided in the same manner, a 3-0 forfeit is a big blow in a two-legged tie. Not impossible to overturn (unless 2nd leg) but makes it much more difficult. I'd be amazed if we're the last Covid postponement in European football this season.

Can’t believe you think UEFA will be consistent with how they apply this rule.

They probably won't. You'd like to see the consistency though. If games are postponed due to Covid, there's a smaller turnaround to have the game replayed than there was with this.

Anyway, seems that we've chosen to accept the decision rather than try and appeal it.

Ideally for Spurs I think it is a good decision. They'll have a good run in the League.

However, if it was the Champions League and UEFA did the same? Same outcome regardless of who it is.

Only £10 a ticket for our home game. Club not putting any value on this then.
