Mainly digital and above the line these days but done a fair bit of social too and understand how the algorithms work. The whole listening in stuff is funny because it comes up all the time, but it’s not true.

The truth is the algorithms just profile you, your friends and their extended network. And they’re f*cking good at it. Read up on graph databases if you want to learn more. Those coupled with machine learning and AI are scary, scary tools. Far worse than anything as simple as listening in

I dont want to it scares me. Was considering downloading a Tor browser for general internet use because of this but if you use that then people think youve got bad intentions and download child porn.

My mate works in advertising through social media. Wanker gets loads of freebies. Dinners, match/concert tickets and playstation games.

Tor browsers will do a bit but not a massive amount, as long as you're on social media or your mates are you're pretty f*cked to be honest. I've never been on facebook but know full well they have a "shadow profile" of me based on the interactions of my friends, family and workmates. Unfortunately we're all tracked far more than most people realise, and there's very little you can do about it.

The biggest irony is that the more you know the less you trust them, but at the same time you know you can do absolutely nothing about it. Even just not being online wouldn't make a difference, since as long as your friends are you are. I keep waiting for the next big story about it, personally i think it'll be Android phones, because if people actually understood what they were doing... Jesus that outcry would make the facebook stuff look small.

Anyway enough of the bleak dystopia, if your mate works in advertising in the London area there's a good chance our paths have crossed, the industry is pretty small and i've been in it a long time so have a good network.

He does work in London though he has only been doing the job for about 12 months. Although he isnt employed by Playstation, last thing I heard he was working on a project helping them advertise through snapchat.

I have a fairly good idea where he works at, he must be a social fella given we're all social

I think there's a lot of stuff that goverments hide from the public - and I would assume a lot of alien stuff is linked with the military, so if you could gain technology from studying aliens then it would be best to keep it under cover.

I don’t know enough about the pyramids to have a meaningful discussion with you but it sounds interesting.

The stuff you’ve said about the moon landings is unfortunately false. Why is there too much light for it to be the moon? The moon has no atmosphere therefore is far brighter than the surface of the earth when lit by the suns light (also take into account that the moon is a light grey colour there is a huge amount of reflected light coming from the surface.)

As for the shadows, they are completely as expected for something being lit by a huge object that is very far away. All of the light casting shadows and hitting the surface is arriving parallel, this is only possible with either the sun or a giant multi-coloured laser array (not even invented when the moon landings took place and would still be incredibly difficult to source and use nowadays due to the incredible heat they kick out.)

The reflection of the camera man with no suit on is so tenuous it’s untrue, the reflection is nowhere near clear enough to say what it is/isn’t.

Finally, it would’ve been harder and more expensive to fake this footage in the ‘60s than it would be to just go there and film as they did.

Might be a bit of a daft question but how come in the moon landing photos there are no stars in the sky?

For the same reason you don’t see stars during the day on earth.

I don’t think they are fake to be honest. The only thing I ever thought was dodgy was the whole Van Allen belt and radiation poisoning thing until I read the facts.

    Ah ok, reasonable then.

Why was the flag blowing then?
There’s supposedly no wind on the moon. It’s all a load of shit.
