Doesn't look great does it? It seems Yorkshire is rotten to the core.

In news down under, the Aussie Ashes squad are being billed as heroes after their T20 exploits, with Mitch Marsh and Warner in particular having praise heaped upon them. Confidence is high is what I’m saying, which isn’t a great start for us..

You have accidentally hit on the thing I hate about this, media just calls them Yorkshire as well....it's Yorkshire county cricket club, not the county of Yorkshire. I'm fed up with basically us all here being called racist....unintentionally or otherwise. They can shut the club down as far as I'm concerned.

Some of the things he’s coming out with today are appalling if true

Managed to catch some of it.

Being forced to drink red wine as a Muslim is pretty horrific.

Big names out now. David Llyod, Michael Vaughan, Time Bresnan, Alex Hales.

Azeem Rafiq is a brave man. It's not easy to do what he is doing.

Also irrespective of how badly Yorkshire county club behaved, props to England for holding such an open inquiry. Most nations would've quietly swept that under the carpet.

Growing up as a kid when I use to follow Cricket and everyone I knew did say Yorkshire were a Racist club. I'm talking between 1994 to 2000 as I played for school and followed the Game for a bit supporting Lancashire.

Crazy to think all of the things assumed at the time, were actually true.

    Sad times for Cricket.

I missed that part while I was at work but just heard it again on the radio - that is absolutely disgraceful behaviour

The Aussies have announced a 15 man squad for the first two tests. Ten of the starting eleven places are locked in with Travis Head and Usman Kawaja fighting it out in a practice match to see who grabs the No.5 slot.

    Australia’s 15-man Test squad:
    David Warner,
    Marcus Harris
    Marnus Labuschagne,
    Steve Smith,
    Travis Head, Usman Khawaja,
    Cameron Green,
    Tim Paine (captain),
    Pat Cummins,
    Mitchell Starc,
    Josh Hazlewood,
    Nathan Lyon,

Jhye Richardson, Michael Neser, Mitchell Swepson make up the fifteen. It’s a strong looking squad. Kawaja has just hit back to back centuries so he’s in good nick but the other players haven’t really had much practice.

Probably very predictably someone had dug out a few comments from the past by Rafiq himself regarding certain issues.

    Rafiq sorry for anti-Semitic messages

Azeem Rafiq has apologised and said he is "deeply ashamed" for using anti-Semitic language in messages from 2011.

Former spinner Rafiq has spoken of his experiences of racism and bullying at Yorkshire and appeared at a Digital, Culture, Media and Sport select committee this week.

The 30-year-old said he had "absolutely no excuses" for the messages.

"I am incredibly angry at myself and apologise to the Jewish community," he said in a statement.

Rafiq said he had deleted the messages to not cause further offence.

"I have absolutely no excuses. I am ashamed of this exchange," he said.

"I was 19 at the time and hope and believe I am a different person today."

They probably all have skeletons in the closet!

I’m still very glad he spoke out about the wider issues in cricket and hopefully it changes the sport for the better

But on a personal level as you say.. what a donkey :fail:

Referring to someone who's tight with money as a 'jew' is as bad as referring to a person of colour as a 'Kevin' because you can't be bothered to learn their name.

It only ever gets full on Boxing Day, the crowds from day two onwards (depending on the way the tests is going) normally attract about 65,000. Either way and either day, I'll be there in the Pommy section. Can't wait..

This one comment he has made will be at the forefront now.

Forget all the Racism he's suffered now. This is a game changer.
