You might be thinking of legendary England winger Sir Tom Finney?

Anyway. RIP Gordon Banks. One of the greatest goalkeepers of all time.

Correct. Bobby Moore was first to go in 1993, then Alan Ball in 2007, Ray Wilson last year and Gordon Banks today.

Weren't Bobby Moore and Alan Ball actually the youngest players of the lot?

    Yet passed away first...

Sad news about Banks - a great goalie over a long period of time.

You're right, because it's Opportunity that's died, not Curiosity as I originally posted. :slap::slap::slap:

    Poor show.

The conductor and composer Andre Previn has died at the age of 89.

For all his musical prowess I'll always remember him as Andrew Preview from Morecambe and Wise.

Aye that's really all I know him, classic sketch that was. Famous for that line about playing all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.

    RIP

Ah ****, never like hearing about the great musicians dying. I prefer Barenboim, but Previn was still top class. RIP

Did you know Previn did that scene in one take? He read the script in the taxi on the way to the studios and did it faultlessly the first time.
