To annoy ***** like you.
Never tried and never will. Until the smoking ban most of my friends smoked, but as of today I don't think I actually know anybody who smokes.
Defiantly agree with that, but probably because in the back of my head I never wanted to stop smoking it
No I don't, I've tried it a few times but it's not for me, hang around with a few people who smoke and every time I hang out with them I leave with my clothes absolutely stinking of smoke which is very annoying.
Smoking is for retards with no confidence and low self-esteem. Smoking because you think it makes you look "cool" is just admitting that you are too thick to think for yourself.
What amazes me is the amount of young people (especially girls) who still continue to take it up despite the fact that it kills - see paragraph above re' retards.
it's no good moaning that you can't give up if you start knowing that its dangerous and addictive it the first place.
unless you're of an age that started smoking before the dangers were known, there is no excuse - you probably deserve to die early. it's a sort of natural selection , weeding out the really dumb.
Smoked Royals from 13 because I nicked my parents' and got a buzz, then inevitably got hooked. From 14 to 25 I was on 20 a day, sometimes rising to 30 a day or even more when it was a big evening of drinking. Gave up on 9th January last year and stayed strong since then. Strangely it was more difficult after nine or ten months than it was after the first two weeks, maybe because there was the big landmark approaching. Been alright since the year's landmark though. You go through stints of thinking about it and stints of not, suppose that'll just carry on forever really because you can never undo addiction, sadly.
A word of encouragement to any addicts on here - it can be done if you are single minded and, crucially, at the stage where you no longer derive any pleasure from it. I was a pleasure smoker who chain-smoked whilst drinking, socialising and sometimes even listening to music, but it eventually gets old; that is the best time to give up. Some of my friends have tried to give up recently and have been asking me for advice, but they haven't really wanted to stop because they still associated it with fun, so they were doomed before they even began. Taking up exercise like jogging will make you see what a buzz being fit is so should help.
yeah i agree, i used to need it i was bad on it. i didnt ever actually smoke ciggies at any other time, even when i drink. i only used them for joints mate. i didnt let people smoke ciggies in mine, they stink the gaff out, its a dirty smell it leaves aswell. anyway im not missin it at all!
what is this nonsense, its not about that at all. i have plenty of self esteem always have had, i started smoking to get stoned. no one starts smoking to make them selves look cool, this isnt the 60's we dont live on the set of happy days, get on the fonz here, aaaay
richard simmons jogged everyday was fit as a fiddle didnt smoke or drink, died jogging, had a heart attack, hows that for natural selection.
the question is do you smoke cigarettes? well what else do you do with them shove them up your arse?
Never have smoked, filthy habit.
Gave up 13 months ago after smoking over 20 a day for over 20 years, I had tried everything over the years, eventually gave up on the "E" cigarette, it worked for me as you have still have the taste the smoke and something in your hand, however the contents of what your smoking aren't addictive so it's easier to ween yourself off.
Put on a bit of weight since which is probably a combination of age, stopping smoking and not training as much as I used too.
No matter what you say, young people DO smoke because they think it makes them look cool. Just because you say you didn't, doesn't make it not so.
As for Richard Simmons, I've never heard of him and had to google to find out who he was. Not exactly a loss to the gene pool is he?
The fitness guru Richard Simmons, who as far as I know, is still alive?
I have smoked since I was 13, mainly because my older sister used to give me cigarettes. Mind you, 10 embassy No10 cost about 12 pence back then.
Whilst the smoking ban has undoubtedly damaged the pub industry, I think it has had a significant positive effect on health. I remember a news report a few weeks ago that said the number of children diagnosed with asthma has plummeted since the ban. That's fantastic news.
Never tried it #StraightEdge
Just take those who voted yes and while they might not say it, they started smoking cause they "thought" it was cool and they're in fact idiots.
Started social smoking when drinking, then the odd one when not drinking which gradually crept up... I don't smoke many though.
Under 10 a day when not drinking.
Sir you are spot on.
Yeah, about 10 a day.
