Think everyone could see this coming a mile off, wonder who they’ll go for?

Interesting to see how this progresses now. Do they go after a proper appointment like Spurs did, or a plaster over the cracks interim appointment like United?

Really can't see him going there, and not just because of the Arsenal/Spurs thing.

    Wolves fans worried?

Nuno would be mad to take that job, imo. Wolves have every reason to think they can finish top 6 and they are a dark horse in the Europa League.

Hope they go all out for Arteta personally, doesn't sound like he wants to move mid season though.

    Rafa Benitez incoming.

Personally think they should take a chance on Eddie Howe.

I don't think it would be smart to get Eddie Howe in midseason.

Well let Freddie take it for the remainder and get Howe in at the start of the summer?

I don't really see an issue with Howe in today tbh, the longer he has with the players, the sooner he can get them playing in his way.

Maybe I'm wrong but just feel with a manager who has basically spent his entire managerial career at Bournemouth (bar about 8 months at Burnley) would be a huge risk as a midseason appointment considering the state of that club. Howe doesn't exactly scream defensive solidity either?

You'd want to get him in when things are a bit settled and he has a preseason to work with them.

Probably not. But I would throw large sums of cash at him to at least try and get him.

I don't believe it will happen, but let's not pretend there aren't reasons. Arsenal are shite at the moment, but that could change with the right manager. And it's not as if they don't spend, as Pepe for £72m shows. He was last summer's most expensive buy in the league, wasn't he?
