Just hearing this guy talk about having a strict footballing plan in your mind and how the top managers can mould players into playing out their vision is like football porn when you compare it with Ole and his football based on good vibes and hoping Ronaldo is brilliant that day.

"What is a little bit of pressing? A little bit of pressing is like a little bit of pregnant - either you are or you're not!"

It must be nice to have a vision, to see your team on the pitch and understand what they're trying to do. Ralf would give us that, either as a coach, manager or director of football. I'd be inclined to give him what he wants.

Imagine getting pumped 5-0 by the Scousers and then a few months down the line employing a manager they sacked, and subsequently replaced with one of the top coaches in world football. Disgusting idea, we'd be a laughing stock.

To be fair he did get Liverpool the closest to the title had Gerraaaaaaaaaard not slipped.

From the rumour Hill though, I've heard Rodgers is going to replace Pep after his current contract ends.

I'd be more inclined to want this bloke if it weren't an interim/caretaker appointment, we can't keep chopping and changing. Obviously there's no point pining for another Ferguson who'll be here for 25+ years, but we need some stability at the top, and Rangnick's too old already for even a medium term commitment.

He's a world class player who can change games on his own, I don't get the agenda against Pogba by United fans.

There's a list of reasons why he isn't world class but I can't be arsed listing them.

How is he not world class? He was the best player of Juventus in their golden period and even got into world team of the year in his early 20s, been the best player for France in many tournaments (including a world cup) and consistently puts up great performances for his country.

When he moved to United in Mourinho's first season the squad was weak, the guy was playing with past it players like Mata and Matic as well as average/below average players like Lingard and Pereira. That's not even taking into account Mourinho who was past his best and had a vendetta against Pogba and he still made prem team of the year in Mourinho's second season and if I remember well Europa league best player in the first season.

His performances when Ole came in were a big part of the reason why he was appointed on a permanent as he was more or less carrying that team on his back for 3 months. His performances declined since then but we all know Ole is the reason for that, how can he be world class at france and when he's at United he's not performing at his previous level? The coaches are the issue, a past it Mourinho and Ole who with all due respect is incompetent will make any player worse.

When he performs world class everywhere else except United it becomes clear the problem isn't him.

He's an arrogant, lazy prick. It's odd that it's always been the players around him, the coaches, the fans, the tea lady, the groundsman and the bloke who paints the lines on the pitch preventing him consistently reaching his apparent 'world class' best. Naturally he can put a shift in half a dozen times a year playing for France, and Italy suited his 'give me all the time in the world to decide what I'm going to do' style of football, but unfortunately you don't get time to fanny about in the Premier League and opposition players have the temerity to take the ball off him mid-pose.

He's been inconsistent and has a poor attitude.

We don't care if he was the best player at Juve or with France.

A World Class player produces without having Class players around him.

Yep. Our shit team and coaching staff aren't preventing a past it Ronaldo from regularly scoring goals.

Ronaldo doesn't affect the game at all when he doesn't score though, and he's not scoring at the same rate he was at Juve. No player can consistently produce when the team and/or coaching staff isn't up to par and that's the same for Pogba.

How is he arrogant and lazy exactly? He's been nothing but professional during his time at United (disregarding Raiola's comments), always stays fit and consistently talks well about the club and the managers. Unlike players like Luke Shaw, Lukaku, Mikhitaryan etc who were lazy/unfit during their times at United and unprofessional as well (Luke Shaw talking about Mourinho and Lukaku's behavior when he was looking for a move away)

I agree with you when you say he tarries on the ball too long, but in his defence he's not a player like Matic who's accustomed to playing deep. He's a creative offensive player and he likes time on the ball to pick locks in opposition defence or take a shot from distance, he'd be better playing higher up the pitch and the fact that he's been played out of position for the best part of 4 years is a coaching problem.

He thinks he's better than he is and he doesn't work hard enough.

    :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Professional? He's been talking about leaving for 2 full seasons now, and it's only because no other club has put a bid in for him that he's still at United. As for 'always staying fit' he's injured yet again, reportedly for 2 - 3 months, which ties in exactly with this time last season, when he was 'injured' and didn't play for 2 -3 months.

Not the 'he's played out of position' tripe again? He's played deep, he's played as a no.10. he's played wide, in all those positions he's had the odd decent game before losing interest again. As I said, his poor play is never his fault.
