Tough on the Irish sides .

Scotland and Wales playing for 2nd.

Good trips for England fans and a group we should win ..

Decent draw. Avoiding Germany was key and we've done that. Some awkward Eastern European trips there that won't be easy and Kosovo seem to be the strongest of the bottom seeds judging by the Nations League results. They seem to have an artificially low seeding due to being a new nation. Overall though we should easily finish in the top two and it would be a huge failure if we didn't.

Feel for the Netherlands. They've had an awful few years and seem to be starting to get their act together again and have drawn Germany as their second seed. You have to think that Germany won't be as dreadful as they have been this year so they could have a tricky time qualifying again.

Horrible draw for us yet again. It would be nice to get an easier draw every now and again. However I knew when Germany dropped to pot 2 we would get them.

Nice for England to get a new team to play in Kosovo. Can’t complain about that draw, very favourable!

Top two? I’ll be disappointed if we don’t absolutely piss it. We are supremely better than all in that group.

Top 2 go through and if any teams in the play-off of the Nations league are one of those who qualify their spot goes to the next ranked side for the play-offs.

We could but this is England. We've had a great year but football is fine margins. Had we lost the penalty shoot out to Columbia we'd be talking about a disappointing World Cup where the draw had opened up for us and we'd failed to take advantage. Had we not got that late winner against Croatia in the Nations League we'd have got relegated and have been talking about a disappointing drop back to earth after the promise of the World Cup. We got the goal, won the group and could even win the competition next summer. We had a few late winners in World Cup qualifying too which could have made our qualifying campaign very different had we not got those goals. Injury time winner in Slovakia in Allardyce's game, injury time equaliser against Scotland, injury time winner at home to Slovenia.

Football is fine margins and although we should have enough to win the group you can never be too confident and falling the wrong side of these sorts of moments early doors could make things tricky. There are a few awkward away games in that group.

Looks like Scotland's best chance of qualifying is through the League Of Nations then.

To me, it looks like their group will come down to the two matches against Russia. Cyprus, Kazakhstan and San Marino should be 18 points.

Although I have tried to look at the all the different formats and got a head ache.

I can't see them getting any points against Belgium or Russia personally whereas in the LON it's anyones for the taking and I believe the winner of the play off qualifies for Euro 2020?
