Hopefully United and Villarreal draw each other. They are the two fixtures I do not want.
Unai is coming for you!
Y’see, if he’d used the force at Arsenal, he might still be in the job.
I backed Spurs at 13/2 to make the final , money down the pan
I can't help feeling they're a worse team now with last decades chip paper in charge than they were with PSG's new guy & have gone backwards .
Mourinho has a 30 month life cycle in his jobs , how longs he been at Spurs for ?
Should easily be the top North London team but Arsenal are catching up quickly !
Unai has always been good. Only stupid management will sack him and hire a newbie.
Man U will be happy with their drawn and will Arsenal void being the 3rd British team to be knocked out by Prague?
Potential for a United v Arsenal final.
Oooo, we have the Brit killers. Slavia Prague.
And then Zagreb or Villarreal in the semis.
That would require Solskjaer to win a semi final....
Clash v an ex manager?
The media would like that.
Manchester United v Roma semi final would be interesting....
Probably good there won't be any fans.
It’s a wonderful narrative. I’m not thrilled about potentially facing Emery. This is his competition.
Sorry ...I have no beef with any of Spurs lads, but this made me smile...
I'll have you know we are the current holders of the Audi Cup thank you very much!
Now the nonsense of the inferior competition is out the way, the real football can happen this week!
Tierney ruled out for us for at least six weeks is a huge blow. But Xhaka, Saka and Smith-Rowe all trained this week. There’s been a lot of (predictable) calls from Arsenal fans this week for us to unleash Martinelli. I don’t think that happens at all.
I think Aubameyang moves back up front with ESR, Odegaard and Pepe all behind him. Saka may go to left-back.
Cliche warning: This is the first of five cup finals for us. One cup winners cup in 50 years of European football is not and never will be enough for a club our size. It needs to change and it starts with a Europa title this year.
I say it every year but it's criminal that a club of your side have won neither of the two big European competitions (still in existence). The one real stain on Arsenal's history - particularly given how frequently you've played European football (in my lifetime at least).
Hoping the other half of the draw do the business because I'm expecting you to overcome Slavia Prague and Villarreal on route to the final.
Edit* Of course there are no guarantees, as we saw in the last round
Is Utd playing on ITV tonight? Just read it in the fixtures.
BT are the only one with rights to the competition as far as I'm aware.
OK ty it says Granada on my fixtures.
Granada are United's opponents tonight
What time is the Spurs game?
