What an absolute sh*t show this has turned out to be, UEFA are absolutely clueless.

6000 ticket allocation per team and add in the fact it's one hell of a journey, disgraceful.

Read that Mkhitaryan ( think that is the correct spelling ) may not travel as his safety cannot be guaranteed. Something about tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Disgraceful that a player should miss a final not through suspension or injury but something political. Get your arses in gear UEFA and sort it for the lad.

RLC out for 6 - 12 months due to an Achillies rupture. Same injury as CHO.

RLC suffered the injury during Chelsea's bizarre friendly with the New England Revolution in the United States, as part of a charity match organised by Bruce Buck.

Hope it was worth it you ****ing melt.

That's now two of our brightest youth products out until 2020.

Not just the player. A number of British/Armenian Arsenal fans have contacted the club telling them they won't be allowed to enter the country due to the political tensions between the two nations.

It's a proper shitshow. Arsenal released a strong statement today effectively telling UEFA to not pull this shit again.

A part of me wants us to boycott the fixture.

Shame - he seems to suffer with injuries a bit although this is just bad luck I guess.

With the mid-season break coming up no doubt teams will fly across the world even more for money making friendlies!

Wow. They're UK Citizens, aren't they? Do they demand a pedigree?

UEFA has to blame for this. Giving an european final to a country "am Arsch der Welt (sorry no translation)" for a start and then this known dilemma. I mean, Mkhitaryan had the same shit before that he couldn't play in a match because of political problems due to his nationality. Bloody shame that this is still possible today in Europe!

We'd probably say something like "at the arse-end of the world.."

I think it's a phrase used, albeit not commonly.

    It's a ridiculous situation.

Ironically I think it's a blessing for Arsenal as I don't particularly rate him but no player should be missing cup finals because of politics and similarly Arsenal should have the choice to select him if they wish to.

    This.

Refunding the fans would be pretty difficult though!

Must be some serious shit that has happened for a player to be worried about his safety. We have some in this country that don't like the Israel - Palestine situation but an Israeli player would not be blamed for the actions of his country.
