Was it clear and obvious ridiculous refereeing, though?
Saka actually set up the first as well so a goal and two assists tonight.
Overall, not overly bowled over by the result. This is not the Frankfurt team from last season, they've lost 3 primary attacking players over the summer and I'm sure if they were around we would have lost. Still allowing far too many efforts at our goal but it's at a point where you have to wonder if Emery does it deliberately to draw teams out against us, it's that shocking.
Saka, Martinez and Willock very good. Smith-Rowe not so much. Aubameyang with another selfless performance, deserved his goal despite missing a sitter.
Another worrying non show from Pepe.
He changed his mind after reviewing the keeper's theatrics. He hadn't even given a foul, waved away the protests, walked over to the keeper who was dying and then changed his mind and gave the Celtic player the second yellow.
The keeper fumbles initially which draws the challenge. It's one of those harsh bookings ordinarily but you'd forgive the ref if he'd booked him straight away.
He's however changed his mind a minute later because he's bought the theatrics. It was laughable. Good point for Celtic though.
Referee apparently waved off a stonewall penalty for Rennes. But that's coming from the French commentators so make of that what you will.
Arsenal is only good in the Europa...
Let's see how the future Liverpool manager does tonight. Oh, and Ally McCoist on commentary. Wonderful.
Good result but for a good 70 minutes we were in complete control of the game and just lacked the final ball so a little disappointing we didn't come away with the three points.
One of the worst ref performances I can think off, he didn't know what he was doing and Rennes sussed this out and started rolling about after every challenge.
Our big CB Julian we got for £7 million looks a class above.
Apoel conceded 4 goals at home to the team currently 12th in Luxembourg.
I know, a 7 goal thriller.
APOEL were 2-0 down in the 54th minute, but by the 58th minute, they were 3-2 up!
They somehow bottled their lead, though...
Sheyi Ojo with a banger for Rangers
Rangers have looked decent here.
Rangers should be 3 up and Ojo should be on his hattrick.
Yes, great performance by Rangers in the first half. Liked the look of this fixture so gave it a watch. Feyenoord started brighter and forced a couple of saves from McGregor but it's been all Rangers from the 10th minute onwards. All the players seem to be pulling in the same direction which does help. They deserve to go in at half-time with the one-goal advantage.
Gladbach 0-3 to an Austrian side, Dirk??? What's up with that?
German sides starting very bleakly
BM 3-0 down at home!
Wolves behind. Really poor goal to concede.
Thankfully Greenwood saved United from drawing Astana at HOME.
Good win for Rangers. The game should have been over by half time but in the end Feyenoord were still in it till the end and it got pretty nervy.
They'll have to take their chances against Porto and in their away games because they won't occur as much as they did in the first half.
