Aston Villa U12x are better at home and in the big games than we are.

We have Crawley after their embarrassing of Leeds. Crawley's manager and coach (Yems and Bradbury) are former coach and player & manager with us, so it's a bit of a reunion.

To give it some context, we didn't lose a game at White Hart Lane that season.

That's probably as close as we came. We were lucky on the day and at the very least you deserved a replay.

Villa and Derby would have every right to kick up a fuss about this. Not sure why Shrewsbury have been given special treatment and had the game rearranged instead of being told to play their under 18s - and now Saints have got to have another midweek game clogging up their fixture list somewhere later in the season because of it. Joke of a decision from the FA.

We didn’t have 14 available players, the 2 you mentioned did as they’re far bigger clubs. I think it’s fair enough.

You've got 19 under 18 players, were they covid ravaged too?
I lost all sympathy when I saw the images of your players all round one of their houses for a Christmas/new year's party.

Bournemouth v Crawley likely to be off due to COVID issues in the latter’s squad .
