because that was exactly my point! I didn't just mean the TV companies. I was including Peterborough and Fleetwood fans in suggesting it "won't get anyone excited". Their fans won't be looking at that game and getting overly excited about it. They play in the same league for starters so it's one of those cup draws you dread.

Dependent on the ticket price it's likely to be a small home attendance and then whatever Fleetwood bring.

It won't bring the biggest TV ratings but it'll be one the two clubs can get excited about at least.

I'd bet on Leicester at home being a sellout. The same won't be said of Fleetwood.

On another day, could quite easily have escalated into one of those awful tragedies that happen occasionally.

Fortunately, the National Transport Police have a base in the station and there's a newly opened Fire Station literally 30 seconds away.

No doubt they need to find the person who started it as its often a crime of compulsion and there's every chance they'll do it again.

Terrible after all the hard work and money spent on the revamp.
Why do people have to do these things.

Looks like VAR got a run out and the decision proved to be correct ..

Pep and City off to Cardiff - sure Warnock will have some get stuck into them tactics ready !

4-1 now. The first game was dire. Amazing what a Home draw to Man City can do.

We didn't deserve our halftime lead, but vastly improved in the second.

The correct decision, but the time in took was a bit alarming.

I guess that is the issue - unlike in other sports there might not be a natural break in play or acceptance of a long pause .

Warnock pretty much said the replay had extra spice to it due to the draw.

They had better chances but we played well first half too but created little.

VAR worked well IMO, didn’t take too long and the play had already stopped so that wasn’t an issue

Listened to Wigan thoroughly deserve their 3-0 win over us.

Yes we made wholesale changes, but many of those players we brought in have vast experience at a good level. Boruc, Arter, Surman, Pugh, Afobe to a slightly lesser extent - and they were probably the worst players on the pitch. Only our younger lot sounded remotely interested.

Anyway, all the best to Wigan in the 4th round against West Ham.

Good win. Definitely got a winnable tie in the next round if West Ham rotate.

Pathetic from us. This can't be blamed on not taking the club seriously- that was a lineup pretty much entirely of first team squad members. I'm pretty tired of some of the players, Afobe & Arter in particular need to go.

Well done to Wigan, who by all accounts wanted a lot more than our lot.

I can understand why they didn't do anything on it, Willian threw himself into the Norwich players leg and there was only minimal contact. To the letter of the law it's probably a penalty but they're not going to want to completely overrule refs unless it's absolutely blatant.
