Just watching on Sky Sports 1 now "sky sports originals" Matt Le Tissier.

Great watch. No sure if its been on before but for a bloke who used to at times irritate me its really good.

Cracking player and a real nice bloke.Just shows how you can get someone wrong.

Thoughts Saints fans on your feeling for the guy.

He's known as Le God. Is any explanation really needed?

TBH his halo slipped a bit when he backed that chancer Micky Fialka's bid for the club when we were in administration and he was on the outs with chairman Cortese, who commanded the respect of many fans, but that was resolved when Cortese resigned.

I saw him in Sainsburys Hedge End once. I didn't bother him.

I've met him a few times and he's a genuinely nice bloke and we'll never see a player of his quality at saints again in my life time. It was a privilege to have watched him in person.

A true great. To be fair he deserved better than playing alongside the likes of Francis Benali, Iain Dowie and Terry Hurlock.

Le Tiss was a true legend, unbelievable player and actually it's endearing that he spent his whole career at the club he loved. Horrendous that he played so few matches for England. And that was simply because he was neither a striker or midfielder. These days with the popularity of the 4-2-3-1 formation he'd have the team built around him.

What a legend MLT was, I was so lucky to have seen him play week in week out and scoring such incredible goals usually to help win games and keep us up year after year against the odds.
