Really need Hamilton and Bottas to collide on the first lap. But they seem to get a long and respect eachother so really unlikely

He’s the perfect partner for Hamilton really. Good enough to make sure Mercedes win the constructors every year but not good enough to beat Lewis to the Drivers title

Who is?....I'd like to see Verstappen alongside him, but there's no better driver than Hamilton in F1 currently IMO....just happens to be driving the best package as well.

can you imagine verstappen and Hamilton both at Mercedes. It would be carnage. As fast as verstappen is, he just isn’t consistent or cool headed like Lewis. It would be a nightmare for max. I hope red bull can get their car to Mercedes level. He’s the only person who can match Lewis currently

Oh I was on about Bottas. I’d like to see him and Verstappen together for a number of reasons.

It would get volatile between them, of that I have no doubt and I’d love to see how Max compared when he’s in a top quality car that isn’t purely designed and set up to suit him

Alex Albon is a lame duck.

Lewis is just untouchable at the minute.

    Another Red Bull flop..?

They just cannot seem to find the right partner for Max.

I think so, I think it's because they're trying to rush them in too quickly instead of spending a bit of time to get used to things.

They need somebody with experience of the sport in the second seat imo, get a new rooky in to the 2nd team and get rid of 2 of the 3 other red bull drivers as they're probably damaged goods now and let the new kid settle into the sport a bit better.

These results are honestly terrible for the sport.

Tsunoda has a couple of podiums in f2 this season and is currently looking like the next best bet for a promotion to Alpha Tauri

The problem with Gasly, Kvyat and Albon is that they have all had a chance now and I can’t see any of them ever getting another shot at the 2nd seat so it would be in their best interests to move on. They’re all talented drivers so they could forge an F1 career elsewhere imo

Dan Ric saw that the second seat at Red Bull would become a poisoned chalice, so as long as max is there I don’t hold out any hope for anyone who gets promoted to the team. They would be better off trying to get a more experienced head like Perez for a couple of years while a couple of new faces like Tsunoda, Vips or maybe even Ticktum get some time to properly bed in at Alpha Tauri

First race I’ve sat down and managed to be able to watch a whole race this season and it’s been almost entirely behind a poxy safety car.

Hulkenberg is genuinely cursed. There is no other explanation.

This DRS chain is soooo exciting.

The only good things to happen so far have been Hulkenberg not starting and being able to watch the channel 4 coverage so I don’t have to listen to Crofty

Also it's sad how poor Kimi has done so far this year.

I know the car is crap but to be 10 seconds behind Giovinazzi, who will probably get dumped himself at the end of the season, is pretty shocking

Yeah it's really poor stuff. He had a good year last year too, it's strange too see him fall away so much, but I guess there's a bit of a cliff drivers fall off as they get older.

    Vettel is doing terrible aswell.

I don’t mind magnusson as much, but yeah there’s other drivers I’d rather see in the sport
