Would you not rather see him win in a Williams?
Seen the incident now as I missed it the other day.
Not sure how Leclerc got away with that one tbh. Should have been penalised.
Verstappen was last year for an identical move.
Erm, not really arsed but why Williams in particular?
But Verstappen wasn't driving a red car?
Because it's the team we should all be behind.
Vettel has had 2 good partners (Ricciardo and Leclerc) now in his career, both have made him look very silly. Kimi doesn't count as he was well past his prime in his second Ferrari run. Vettel's just not very good at all.
Interesting stat from Sunday's commentary; Vettel has never won a race when starting outside the front three. Is that right?
EDIT: TBF though Hamilton has only won 5 times from outside the top 3 and Schumacher only managed it 7 times.
They do have 81 and 91 wins respectively whilst Vettel has just 52, going of their percentages of wins outside top 3 you'd only expect him to have won 3 races outside top 3.
Indeed, but he's won none.
Yes, because he's crap
He certainly seems to have lost whatever it was that made him a Champion.
A good car with barely any competitors?
Vettel is/was a great front-runner. He is a guy who would get pole position and fly off into the sunset, so it does not shock me to see he has not really made that many comeback performances.
To be fair to him, not many drivers win WDCs without having the best car. Schumacher had the best car from 01-04, Lewis has had the best car for a lot of his WDC wins too.
The by far and away best car on the grid is what made Vettel champion as you know. Put him in a similar car to hamilton, verstappen, bottas and now leclerc and Vettel is ****ed.
In fairness Hamilton must start a race outside the top 3 no more than once a season.
Positive news if true..
Michael Schumacher is now 'conscious' after undergoing stem-cell therapy at a Paris hospital | Daily Mail Online
He was conscious before. Just couldn't do anything. I very much doubt we'll ever see him in the public eye again.
Agreed and not should we if he and his family want to stay private.
