Oh I know, I just think it's shitty how they haven't given any of his fans any update whatsoever after all the years they spent supporting him and following him. They've been completely quiet about it.

Turns out Ocon is contracted to Renault for 2 years with no clause to return in 2021.

It’ll be interesting to see what Mercedes do at the end of 2020 when the new regs come in for 2021. Stick with Bottas who’s a known quantity and keeps Hamilton happy or pop George Russell in the car ?

I have been watching some season reviews lately. Currently on 2002 and it reminded me how wasted Juan Pablo Montoya was.

He was getting pole a lot that season but it could not convert to race wins whether it would be reliability or not starting great.

Guy was very quick though and i feel he should have had a better career in F1

Yeah he was a solid racer. There are quite a lot of decent racers over the years that I felt would've won the championship had they been given a chance in one of the grids better cars.

Out of curiosity, who are those drivers?

I thought Kubica in his first run could have been a title challenger in a better car

He arguably did in the 2003 Williams. It was just unfortunate that there were two cars with similar ability, one of which contained Schumacher, and the other had Raikonnen. Williams also had a good chance in the Constructor's, only Ralf didn't pull his weight.

Ferrari clearly have the fastest car now. Hamilton needs to bring out some of his magic now to beat them. His car in itself is no longer enough.

Leclerc in Pole, Hamilton in second.

Leclerc is really getting to grips with his car now. 100% future champion in that car.

Good qualifying round that, thought Vettel was nailed on with his first Q3 lap but Leclerc had another stormer.

    Mercs lagging a bit.

If this strategy for Hamilton comes off, this is absolutely brilliant.

    If it doesn't...

Mercs only hope now is a safety car, there's no way Hamilton catches the Ferraris even with 6 laps extra on the tyres.

Ferrari definitely have the upper hand at the moment, thankfully Hamilton has a big Championship lead to play with.

I think the safety car has been out too long now. The Ferrari tyres will last to the end fine.

Hamilton being left behind by a red bull here. He's really not been at it since the break.

Leclerc is still bitter about the undercut and perhaps rightly so, I just wonder if he'll try it on Vettel late on, going against the team radio.

I can't believe how poor Hamilton has been lately but that said, Ferrari have all of a sudden found so much more pace on the straights that even DRS doesn't do anything.
