Any thoughts or predictions for tonight's awards presentation Sir Alex?

Well I think it will be extremely close and there will be a lot of surprises along the way, we're getting into squeaky bum time now aren't we?

Lets get to the first award category then, I'd like to welcome Paolo Maldini and Franco Baresi up here to announce the winner...

    Now where is the bar?

Ciao ladies and gentlemen, this result is a fairly obvious one. The winner for Best Defence is Guyett with an eye watering 42 points

JH1980 came second with 11 points and Joga Bonito came in third with 9 points.

As Guyett leaves the stage with his award in hand Steven Gerrard and Bobby Charlton take the stage to give the award for the Greatest Midfield

Was obvious. Jh's defence was really good so I feel bad that he lost but such a margin but there really was only one winner.

This was a bit closer than the Best Defence voting but there were two stand out midfield resulting in a tie for first place

In joint first on 22 points were Ollie and Purple Bananaa

    [IMG] [IMG]

AJ's Right Peg / Prolifik came in second place on 12 points and Joga Bonito came in third on 9 points

PB's was the best midfield to be fair but thanks for the votes anyway, happy to tie for that. x

Voted PB, Ollie, and Joga in that order so no surprise there.

Lots of love for Barca's duo, but P.B built an original midfield masterpiece.

    Brilliant defence Guyett.

Very happy to come 3rd on those two categories.

As the applause dies down two more legends take the stage

We are here to award the team with the greatest attack. It was extremely close at the top but there can be only one winner.

Telstar has won with 21 points

Ollie and The Doc finish in joint second on 20 points and Plymouth Gooner finishes in third on 8 points.

Joint top best midfield & 1 point off best attack, happy with that. Particularly as I drew with an excellent attack like The Doc's & a midfield like PB's.
