Generally very subdued at Hillsborough recently, started off great against Villa on the opening weekend, but today it was silent at times in the first half. Ok ish after we scored. Same for all clubs?

At Oakwell it's absolutely electric for the entire 90 minutes. Some say we're the Dortmund of the English leagues, and I agree with them.

I'm right in the middle of our noisy stand and I never leave w game with my voice but it right opposite from away fans so not sure how well it travels. Also two separate halves singing so loses some effect. I'd say average at best.

Birmingham fans are very respectful, we always observe a 90 minutes' silence just in case someone has died..

I think the away fans like coming to Fulham, as the away end has good acoustics that make even a small away support (if you are down that end) sound loud. But to be honest when you are at the other end you can't hear the away fans that well most times unless they've scored.

Fulhams singing fans are located in all the stands and because of that don't always sing together, (again acoustics), but this season we've had more games with the 'Dreaded Clapper' but they do get more people involved who don't want to sing.

I think like most away fans Fulham are more vociferous away from home nowadays as you are all clustered together, at home more spread out over the stadium.

Don't really notice it as i'm to busy looking at the premiership scores on my phone , we need a drum disco lights and cheap black clothing to get a atmosphere going i think

Ours can be decent at times in the North Stand however it is so far from the away fans so it could be better

Dreadful, though if you want a nice peaceful kip I guess it's perfect. I think the fans that go have had all hope knocked out of them the last 6 years. Mind you, the Blackburn End did go crazy after THAT goal against Newcastle so we're still alive.

Ours could be made better with goal music and those clapper things that they have at Leicester.

Woeful at the City Ground currently, near total silence throughout the game.

Got to the point where I wish the away fans would just STFU and give the shit on display the silent disapproval it deserves.

Its down to all seaters - not the home fans.
EVERYWHERE irrespective of who the home team are, the away support is loudest.
Sheff Wed never stopped harping on about how loud their fans were at SJP
Of course they were. Roles will pretty much reverse in the return game

Shite tbh, and has been since MIke Ashley purposefully halved the singing section by displacing 50% of it to the other corner of the ground. Before that the singing section was right next to the away fans and it was a decent atmosphere. It will sort itself out in a few years but it's crap at the moment.

Ours is pretty good. Some stands are louder than others, due to the demographic of the people sitting in them, generally speaking.

Unless it's a big match (eg us in playoff semi final)
everywhere is shit, (us included) best I have seen in last few years were Derby (side of away fans behind net) last season, they had a good go at competing with 3k very pissed and noisy Wednesday fans. I have heard Huddersfield have been good this year, but whenever I have been they have been poor to average. Like someone else said 90% of matches the home support is quiet and almost all the atmosphere is generated by away fans.

Reading this is quite depressing , cant think of the last ground i visited and thought wow the home crowd really get behind their team whatever the score is , Newcastle being the most surprising , even at 2-0 it was very quiet in the home areas , something i always looked forward to had been taken away from the modern day game , i thought it was just us in lil ole sleepy sussex that had their voices removed at the turnstiles by over zealous ground regulation enforcers, shame .
