I'm terrible. If both me and the wife have to be somewhere I drag her off ridiculously early every time..

    But why?

One of my work colleagues always rocks up gone 9, and always offers a different reason why. Most of the time she’s merely running late. Leave earlier, maybe ?!

Depends on what I’m doing & who I’m meeting

If it’s something work related or an appointment with some professional I will always try to be early.

If it’s mates out somewhere or Saturday / Sunday football then i’ll aim to get there 10/15 minutes late just because I know otherwise i’ll be the first one there & will end up waiting around for 20 minutes

I'm relying on public transport and the occasional lift because I've been unable to drive for medical reasons since Jan. Buses either get me in 10 mins late or an hour early and I don't fancy that everyday. Plus, I'm a bit of an arse and I'm in charge so other people will have to grin and bare it.

Fair enough. I’d never aim to get to work anywhere near an hour early

Arrive early to pretty much anything. 10-30 minutes if it's meeting friends or family.
Sometimes over an hour if it's something important like medical appointments or multiple hours for flights.

I waste so much time with my irrational fear of being late
I always assume the worst and tally them all up together to decide how early to leave.

I'd rather be an hour early, than a minute late tbh

We make the effort to get to work on time, be at the cinema before a film starts, arrive at an airport early yet some cannot make the effort to not be late when meeting someone. Grrrr, pet hate.

Then why were you the last one bouncing into the station in 2016 you useless little bellend.

Your opening comment about Adz made your late entrance worth it though.

I regularly come in an hour early to get classes ready. Even come in 2 hours early some days to plan lessons and such

If you're not at least 5 minutes early then you're already late.
