3rd game into our new record breaking unbeaten run (we already hold the EFL record by the way ;)) are the Tigers who have had some decent results recently so a hard game in prospect.

In all honesty I'd settle for a draw going into the international break and keep this little run going after the terrible 18 months we've had.

Then the Cowley's can have a bit more time till the Blackburn game in 2 weeks to get their ideas across like a mini pre season almost, as Danny Cowley said we lose 6 or 7 to international duty but they're being given homework to do on an app he's setup while they're away and this app tells him how long they've been on it (you can tell he used to be a school teacher!)

    1-1

Another hard game and an equally difficult one to predict. Our progress is being made in small steps rather than giant leaps but I believe we'll need a few leaps tomorrow to take anything from the game. Not holding my breath to be honest! :hmmm

Not too pleased that you won mid-week. Now you will go into this with a lot of confidence to obtain that first home win.

Expecting Fraizer to score too. If he does I hope he sticks two fingers up to the owners.

Indeed. Ideally we would have kept him, but the wage he was on was considered too much to be worth extending according to the board room.

If I recall he was left in the dark about his future for a long time during the summer - as it happened to others previously.

Well him and Danny Simpson are just what we needed, a couple of players not traumatised by our abysmal last 18 months, good solid players with a good attitude.

For some strange reason I've developed a niggling dislike for Hull City, perhaps more specifically a wariness of their fans, after a few nasty 'run-ins' over the years. I know it's largely irrational but if I have those feelings about a clubs fans I find them difficult to ignore and it affects how I feel about games against them. In other words I just don't want us to win, I want us to soundly thrash them. Like I say it's pretty irrational but there you go. Now I just hope sharing this silly prejudice on here doesn't create the proverbial kiss of death this afternoon!!!!!

We’re really starting to look a lot better now. As shown today confidence is such a huge thing. Once we broke the deadlock with a stupendous finish from Grant, we were oozing confidence. Love to see it after the dire year and a half we’ve had as a football club. UTT.

I don't know what the Cowley's have done with Diakhaby but what a transformation and to quote from DATM 'he's gone from being unplayable to being unplayable'

Great to see him playing with confidence. Even after putting in so many iffy crosses he didn't let his head drop and played a massive part in the first two goals. Monaco signed him as a replacement for Mbappe. He's never going to be anywhere near that level but you can now kind of understand what they were thinking when they signed him

Left flank was more exposed than it already usually is due to Grosicki seemingly carrying a knock. McCann made poor substitutions and Cowley did one that changed the game in their favour by bringing on Bacuna. We were playing poorly but still in it prior to that. Once Grant scored we fell apart like a house of cards, as if the players knew we needed to keep it at 0-0 to get anything.

Bad day at the office, not much to shout about at the match...
