In my own defence, I’ve been pretty consistent in my opinion of signing Sanchez.

But I’m sure no United fans have ever changed their opinions on players based on whether they do or don’t sign :D

To be fair mate, anyone can drag up a few tweets,

Being completely honest, since the Summer it's been obvious he's leaving Arsenal and similarity he's only been linked to city. Since that point, the overwhelming majority of city fans have rimmed him and talked about how great he would be. Granted, the emergence of sane and Sterling may have lessened his requirement, but even as recently as Monday most blues were smug as f'ck as he wouldn't be cup tied for the Fa Cup.

The complete turnaround from yesterday and more so today when you said you wouldn't go over £20m has been :D fwiw, I'd be stunned if he didn't move to city this month, at worst he will move in Summer.

I’d be surprised if he went anywhere other than us tbh, but 50/50 between now and summer.

    Some more rumours...

Should Everton sign Theo Walcott in the January window Burnley will look to sign winger Aaron Lennon for a believed fee of £1.5 Million. Sam Allardyce has admitted he wants to trim his squad and players will be allowed to leave in this transfer window. According to Sky Bet Aaron Lennon is odds on favourite to sign for the clarets.

According to reports in France Burnley have enquired about Nice striker Alassane Pléa. The French striker who’s 24 could be interested in a move to Burnley. But Nice will demand a high fee with Pléa’s contract not running out until 2021. He’s scored 10 goals in 30 appearances this season.

I'd have thought you'd register an interest, especially if theres a chance of entertaining a Hazard bid at some point in the future. Then you can offer us an enormous fee for Mahrez and continue to become Leicester 15/16.

Leave me alone I'm a night worker, I don't get much sleep

    Like we'd do that

I am quite surprised with how City have conducted themselves all throughout this saga. Happy to wildly overspend on the likes of Walker, Mendy and Ederson but not Sanchez? Then not make a bid all summer until the last couple of days of the window leaving us no time for a replacement. Now they're 'putting their foot down' this month about it too. I just find it strange they'd be so emphatic with some signings yet not this one.

If we get to Wembley in League cup , hes cup tied, wait till sum
3 positions desperately needed an upgrade, up front isnt as urgent as keeper and full backs

I wouldn't say keeper was 'urgent' but that's me being pedantic and I appreciate the point.

For whatever reason, City and Guardiola 'want' him yet aren't making the kind of effort you'd expect to get him. I find that strange. I wonder if the workload on his body is affecting the thought process. By the time this season ends, he would have played close to 700 games already in his career and spent the last 4 summers playing international football.
